Game Thread W13 - Oakland V San Diego (1 Viewer)

Ajirotutu had a step on Tyvon Branch deep but Rivers overthrew him by a couple yards.

That was HORRIBLE by Applewhite. They had him out there just to watch the bootleg and he completely goofed, just sitting there staring at the pile.

Once the Bolts are down by 14 pts all that talk about Mathews or Tolbert won't matter anymore because they'll abandon the run...

I had zero worry about this game coming in, but we need a touchdown on this drive right now. Raiders with the ball up 14 would scare me with the way Bush is running.

Raiders playing some great ball today.

But can they keep it up?

I'm still in shock from seeing Schillenz out there

good to know that Bush is now the TD back for Oakland. McFadden isn't getting touches in the red zone. If this holds he has no value to me...

I'm done... and so are the Chargers.

I know that they have been faced with some terrible injuries, but this is the most undisciplined Chargers team that I have seen since Marty's last playoff loss. Norv needs to go.

SD fans - I just walked into the other room where the SD/Raiders game is playing, saw the score and said "damn, the Chargers need a turnover". Then McFadden fumbled.

YW

Season over for the Chargers. What draft # we looking at?
:ptts: Against the Raiders, this game is far from over. But even assuming you want to count this as a loss, if the Chargers beat KC next week and the Chiefs lose at Saint Louis, it would come down to tiebreakers.

Sure looked like McClain led with his helmet, but with Sproles so short, not sure what else you can do
Sproles took 3 "Sproles" size steps which made him a eligible runner to hit.
You still can't hit helmet to helmet.
Helmets hitting is NOT a penalty unless the runner is in a defenseless position, which Sproles wasn't.That said, it was TERRIBLE technique. Defenders have a bad habit in recent years of trying too hard to hit hard, and rarely wrapping up.

what a fake by Campbell....Defense cheering like they made teh stop - camera man couldn't even follow where the ball was.....lol :excited:
