Game Thread W14 - Kansas City V Denver (1 Viewer)

what's the chance that Brandon Marshall finally shows up on a week I don't need him to? I say 99.9%

ball hit the groundGO CHIEFS!!!!!!
I am not sure what is more sad: Broncos fans worrying about holding off a 5-8 team for the division, or fans of a 5-8 team still hoping that their team somehow can win the division. Pretty close call, really.

Hillis to locker room. Hyperextended leg.

Really could of been ugly. Went up and made a great grab on a bad pass, but his leg remained straight as his foot hit ground.

Agreed. That being said, if the Bolts win out and sneak in, no one wants to see them in the playoffs.
They stink. Nobody's afraid of the Chargers. The winner of the West will be disposed of quickly.

More info on Hillis!!!!!
Strained right hamstring. Return questionable.
:wall: Jeez!!!! Did he walk off on his on power?
Yeah. But I don't see him returning. Really looked bad how he came down. I had to turn away seeing the replay. Could of been worse than strained hamstring. :2cents:
Figures. That's how it usually happens to me. Same thing happened when I started Ryan Torain. Het gets about 60 yards and a TD gets hurt. I start Hillis for the first time and he does the same.

You're not alone. Lets hope he comes back.

At this point, I'm fine if he doesn't come back as long as it is only a strained hammy and not something more serious.

In a manner of speaking, the Broncos are now down to their 6th string RB (Young, Pittman, Bell, Torain, Hillis and now Bell).

If he's done for the day, I doubt he will be healthy enough to be startable next week. I hope he's ok. If not I'm in trouble next week. My only other option is a gimpy Barber.

Rotoworld's take on Hillis:

(Rotoworld) Peyton Hillis left Sunday's game in the second quarter with a leg injury.

Analysis: Hillis hyperextended his leg on his way down after making a fantastic 11-yard catch. He limped badly on his way to the locker room and appears unlikely to return, although this doesn't figure to be an injury that will keep him out long. Tatum Bell is the only back left on Denver's game-day roster. Hillis had 58 yards and a TD on nine carries and the catch before exiting.

Three straight incomplete attempts by Thigpen to Gonzalez. He does realize that he has other receivers, I assume? At this point, I'm guessing that any completions to a non-Gonzalez KC receiver are merely caught deflections.

Figures. Playing against Marshall this week for a playoff spot and now he decides to start scoring TDs.

Really Brandon marshall, where were you when the games counted for me?

Mark Bradley's out so he DOESN'T really have any receivers other than Bowe, who has a decent 6-77. Denver is smartly focusing on those two receivers, and there's no one else to worry about at all.

That last TD by Marshall sure looked like a backward pass or a rush. Any chance they will change that? Cutler threw it from the 10, Marshall caught it back at the 11, and ran in. If they change this, I will pretty much wrap up a win :lmao:

No, he caught it around the 10, but it did look awfully close. They could very well change that, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't. Anyway, not the prettiest win today, but the Broncos are now 8-5, and their magic number to win the division is now 1. This team still drives me nuts, however. :kicksrock:

I DVR'd it, and if the ball was allowed to hit the ground by Marshall, it would have easily hit at the 11. Please, someone change it for me :blackdot:
