I see NFL.COM has Chester with 3 carries so far........any input on how he looks running with those banged up ribs.....

Looks like Nugent has really picked it up since the talks about him being cut early in the season. After going 1-3 in the first game he is 14-15 with his only miss being over 50 yards the rest of the season.

yeah, he's turned it up. the 50+ yarder he had would have been good from 60.

What did this play look like...broken play or did they run it for Cotchery?

jump ball corner of EZ, just thrown a bit too far out of bounds. got 1/2 a foot down after the catch.pennington could have thrown a better ball there.

hard to tell.He had some nice reads and nice passes, but that could be because the Jets had a lead and were playing prevent.Should get a better feeling next week.. at least I hope. But knowing Childress, he'll say it is too short of a week to prepare so he will stick with Johnson for Thursday game at Green bay

He looked a lot better than Johnson. If he had started, i think the Jets would have had their hands full. Very quick burst when starting to scramble, good arm strength, pretty accurate, and not afraid to throw it downfield. A couple of really nice defensive plays from the Jets stopped some big gains, and a touchdown. My first impression is that he looked like he has a lot of potential, and is an instant upgrade over Johnson
