Game Thread W16 - Baltimore V Pittsburgh (1 Viewer)

Good luck today, yinzers. I don't have a good feeling about the Ravens today. With Reed out, Ben may have a repeat of last week's game. I think the Ravens only hope is for a couple of flukey plays to go their way. I'm thinking Stillers, 31-20.

Mason 1/11...10:00 to go in the 2nd, but now Pitt gets the ball, Flacco's TD pass went to Heap. Hope Mason gets it going in the 2nd half, he was top10 on every cheatsheet out there this week.

Not only is the Steelers secondary absolutely terrible this season but it seems like receivers are making amazing catches against us at an abnormal rate. I rarely see receivers drop anything that is catchable against us.

I'm pretty sure Baltimore is going to the playoffs regardless of the outcome of this game but that secondary better be healthy for the playoffs. For once, the Steelers secondary may not be the worst on the field...........

so, does wallace start next season in place of holmes, or do they keep him as the 3rd wr?
Is that a serious question?
only about 10%. Wallace just keeps amazing me with his plays this year, and Holmes has disappointed me a bit.
Holmes has 76 catches and almost 1,200 yards, with six quarters in the season still to go. That is awfully productive for a number 1 WR. Wallace is a good number 3, but he benefits by having two good WRs and a top TE around him.

As usual............. :thumbup:ETA.... not to mention less than 12 months ago, Holmes gave the Steelers one of the most dramatic superbowl victories in history.

Steelers caught a break on that 3rd down pass into the end zone, as that looked like pass interference (based on how they usually call it...I have no problem with contact like that not being called, but it usually seems to). Game tied up now, 20-20.

Good to see that the Steelers are trying their best to give the ball right back to Baltimore on their side of the 50 this drive.
