I agree....especially with the Colts history of resting players and losing at home in the second round after their bye. Three weeks is to much time off for elite athletes. They should play this entire game and at least the first half of the next game....but then again...what do I know.

In sports you can't underestimate momentum.... This is going to take wind out of Indy's sails. Trying to focus at practices when you are not playing a meaningful game now for a months time with no perfect season to shoot for they will lose sharpness.

The NFL isnt the NBA - you can't ease your way into the playoffs and use the 1st game of the postseason to lose the rust. So the Colts weren't playing the Jets tonight - they essentially were playing the Chargers. The Chargers are peaking and the Colts needed to make a statement so they start the postseason as a feared team.
