Game Thread W16 - Philadelphia V Washington (1 Viewer)

This is where you need a qb that can win you a game. Ours seems like he can't do it!!!! Then he run for a 1st down while typing this. :shrug:

 
How can Philly just not show up for this game against the godawful Skins? Even Asante Samuel doesn't want it.

 
I can't believe how bad Campbell blows today. if I had a nickel for every bad pass....Skins will never go far w/him.

Also what condition does he have that he's incapable of closing his mouth?

Yes. Either the receivers can't get open, or if they are they can't catch, or McNabb can't get it to them accurately. It's amazing they are still in this game.
 
No surprise that the Eagles are losing and can't generate any offense.

Westbrook only has 11 carries right now.

Another shocker: McNabb, Reid and the Eagles taking 30-40 seconds for every play while attempting to run the hurryup. How many games have the Eagles blown because they have zero ability to run the hurryup? It has to be unbelievably frustrating for Eagles fans to watch this team trudge down the field as time just keeps ticking away. I think I'd end up throwing something through the tv.

 
McNabb will get the heat for this, but anyone watching it knows..... WR's aren't open and they've dropped some key balls

Way to waste time that entire drive and run out at the end.

All they needed was about 10 more seconds, and they had to have wasted 20-40 seconds at LEAST on that drive. Nice job Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb. Those two have to be the WORST time management combo in NFL history.

Eagles don't want it, #### em. Go Cowboys I guess. These are not playoff teams.

Seriously, they killed like 35 seconds before the 2:00 warning and got one play off.

That seems to happen EVERY single time the Eagles are down and trying to drive at the end of a game. Has McNabb EVER had a come from behind last minute drive that he's actually converted on? It's unreal how much time those guys waste. You would have thought that after choking in the Super Bowl thanks in part to terrible clock management, that they would have fixed it by now. But it happens all the time. And every time, Reid says the same thing afterwards: "That's my fault. It's obviously something we need to go back and look at and work on. I'm not putting our guys in the best chance to succeed." Talk radio in the Philly area should be interesting this week. :goodposting:
