Game Thread W17 - Green Bay V Arizona (1 Viewer)

c'mon packers, get the starters out of there already.
Keep them in for the half.
Big lead. On the road. Play same team next week in a meaningful playoff game. Other team already has backups in. What are the packers trying to prove? I don't see any reason why the starters are still in.
I can't think of anything but "Keep the ball rolling". I think we have established that. Sit em in the 2nd.

that was my thought as well...we're already winning big...establishing our starters and continuing their hot streak.

I meant sit em in the 2nd half. Who cares if we are playing against USC's JV team right now? It only builds confidence for an already confident defense, and a very dangerous offense. Either way, GO PACK!

Stop the #####ing and whining about who played the first half. We are not talking about a team that blew threw its scheduled and had no weaknesses!!

MM wanted to keep the first teams sharp and was pretty good in the first half, now he can rest the second half and get ready for the playoffs. I hope some of you realize there will be still starters in the game come the second half. 22 guys start plus punter and kicker. That leaves some players still getting playing time. Lets hope that no reserve gets hurt now so that a starter has to go back in and play the game when he should be out.

...and Boldin goes down after taking a big hit while trying to make a leaping, one-handed catch. That's the 2nd starter Arizona has lost to injury in this game.

I'd like to see Rodgers stay in long enough for the Packers' single season passing yards record.

Anquan Boldin-WR- Cardinals Jan. 3 - 5:59 pm et

Anquan Boldin left Sunday's game with a lower left leg injury.

Boldin was undercut over the middle, and his leg bent backward awkwardly. He managed to limp off the field under his own power, though it was tough to tell if the injury was to his ankle or his knee. He's likely done for the day with three receptions for 38 yards, bringing his season totals to 84 catches and 1,024 yards to go with four scores.
