Yeah i never have liked the Dolphins very much but I don't mind them keeing hte Pats out of the playoffs this year. Great year for the Dolphins although I think the Ravens are gonna crush them next week.

Not unprecedented, but definitely unnecessary. With this 4 division crap, they need to just start going with the best records. The Broncos, Chargers and Cardinals are all garbage with garbage records.

By all accounts Mangini is going nowhere regardless of today. I would guess Schotty actually goes nowhere either despite the worst playcalling in the second half of a season i have ever seen. But one can dream....By the way, I don't know if it was covered earlier but anyone see Brett's 'well maybe we win, maybe we don't I love you guys pregame speech'? Man what a lack of fire even before they got on the field and forgot to run the ball.....

Excellent year by the Phins. Hats off to them - but an epic NYMets like collapse by the Jets. Taking nothing away from the great finish of the Phins, but the Jets shot themselves in the foot, thigh and stomach to finish the season.

'85 Broncos IIRC got left out at 11-5 but with 6 teams in the playoffs in each conference, it's pretty hard to be left out at 11-5. Still have to be proud of the effort by the Pats though with all those injuries this year.
