This guy is so damn bad that not only does he have no clue about how to run an offense, he also hasn't figured out that his best player is Frank Gore and his 'O' should revolve around the running game, not Alex Smith. He continues to think that Smith is the focal point.

I would protest week 1. I would walk around outside the Dome with a placard sign protesting should this happen. And I'm a huge ND fan. I'll take Clausen on the Rams but only with their second pick....
