Game Thread W2 - Atlanta V Tampa Bay (1 Viewer)

Wow. Matt. Ryan. Horrible.

Worst case scenario as a Michael Turner owner.

I guess this means that ATL will have to air it out now that their behind... :hey: Good luck with that.

What's the record for most incompletions to start a game?
If you want to be a glass is half full type of guy Ryan is 2/8 with two completions to football players...
:hey: Hopefully this doesn't get out of hand too quickly, need to see the Bucs A-Team defense for four quarters...How does Dunn do it? Little guy should be sitting in his backyard watching the game by now...simply amazing...

I guess Gruden wants Griese to get all the kinks out of his system, but it would be nice if he ran the ball and put the Falcons away for good.

What the hell is up with the playcalling? Ryan is struggling mightily, and they've abandoned the run altogether? Turner isn't even on the field in a series 1st and goal on the 7 ?!?!

Where, in God's name, is your 50 million dollar running back during that red zone situation? I don't think he was even on the field the entire drive! Are you F'ing kidding me?

Matt Ryan playing like he has something urgent to get to on the sideline. Definitely looks like a rookie today.

There was so much talk around Antonio Bryant having a breakout season in TB. He's been a non-factor in this game. Can anyone enlighten me as to what's going on with him?

:kicksrock: Good luck explaining this. I've watched it 3 times and can't tell wtf just happened.

Something like Atl completion, fumble, recover by Tampa, fumble-or-illegal forward pass, recover by Atl.

Tampa BAy charged with two penalties but called offsetting.

Now they're saying that since Atlanta ended up with the ball, they keep it :wall:

When was the last time Turner ran the ball? If they keep trying to get back into this with the pass they are going to play prevent and the Falcons are going to leave a TON of yards on the field by not running up the soft middle...

did White even get credit for his catch?

He must have because the ruled it catch, fumble, fumble, Atl recovery.

Bucs could probably have iced the game there if the idiot defender hadn't tried to forward lateral it. If he just goes down it's Bucs ball with great field position. Instead, ATL recovers and the cheap shot on Ryan gave them another 15 yards. Just a horrible play. ATL winds up with a FG and are still alive.

1st and goal at the 4 and you throw three straight incs... seriously, wtf?

are they throwing this game just to get ryan reps? terrible.

Ryan has grown up a lot in this second half... he could of collapsed after that 1st half

tbh as an atlanta fan i hate to see losses but it wouldnt be the end of the world if we lost this game, because we have seen improvement by the defense and the offense and most importantly MATT RYAN

wrong... it was 43 that cost the bucs on that play...if he hadnt laid out Ryan for no reason the bucs would of had the ball just been backed up around mid-field because of the illegal forward pass

ANOTHER 1st and goal from the 7 yard line. and no Turner on the field, no running plays called, Ryan rolls out right all three plays AGAIN. WTMF
I am at a complete loss to explain it. He was actually on the field for that series, BTW, but not given the ball. I anxiously await the explanation for that bit of sheer lunacy. TWICE. Give your horse the ### #### BALL.

Both were inexcusably stupid.

According to what the official said, since ATL recovered it it was their ball. But it's academic thanks to Graham's run.

The officiating has been good - but the officials explanations have been comically bad.

Dunn is nice, Graham is the man...feed him the ball...

Having Griese toss the ball around more than 30+ times is probably not the smartest plan...

EDIT: ...and of course Dunn gets the ball inside the ten... :boggles mind:
