Now **** Jauron is yelling at the ref....
I REALLY don't understand this call. I rewound it and he didn't spike the ball at all. He turned and flipped the ball to the ref. I'm SERIOUSLY shuked on that one. And then he gets bumped in the endzone right before the ball got there and no call again. I'd be getting in the ref's face too at that point.Lee Evans unsportsmanlike for spiking the ball after finally getting a catch... gay
I think he got this one when he stuck his finger in the ref's face. Not sure what he said at that point, but the ref reached for the flag right after he did that.I REALLY don't understand this call. The second one I absolutely understand. But I really have no idea why the first one was thrown. You can clearly see him trying to flip the ref the ball. I have no idea how they got spiking the ball out of that one.I think he got this one when he stuck his finger in the ref's face. That's news? Not sure what you expect when they have one of the toughest schedules in the entire league and are anything but a powerhouse. So Evans still has 1 reception for 9 yards? I got news for you, he's killed many teams already this year--mine included.
I don't know, maybe ROSCOE PARRISH NUMBERS?That's news? Right... because teams are going to give Evans the same coverage they give Buffalo's #3?I don't know, maybe ROSCOE PARRISH NUMBERS?That's news? You said "Not sure what you expect..."If anyone expected 4 receptions for 25 yards in two games, I don't think they'd be drafting Lee in the third and fourth. So tell me, WHO expected those numbers--you?BILLIEVE said:Right... because teams are going to give Evans the same coverage they give Buffalo's #3?PumpusX said:I don't know, maybe ROSCOE PARRISH NUMBERS?BILLIEVE said:That's news? Congratulations on your impressive win against a 5-11 team.CrossEyed said:Steelers dominated from the opening whistle. Game wasn't even as close as the score. Steelers looking impressive so far.
most of us play in leagues that last longer than 2 weeks.Evans on the same pace he was a year ago after 2 games. You said "Not sure what you expect..."If anyone expected 4 receptions for 25 yards in two games, I don't think they'd be drafting Lee in the third and fourth. But that's a whole game better than the team they dominated last week.Congratulations on your impressive win against a 5-11 team.CrossEyed said:Steelers dominated from the opening whistle. Game wasn't even as close as the score. Steelers looking impressive so far.
You mean the team that beat the Bengals? But that's a whole game better than the team they dominated last week.Congratulations on your impressive win against a 5-11 team.CrossEyed said:Steelers dominated from the opening whistle. Exactly! Good teams blow out bad ones, some people just don't want to admit a team might be good. You mean the team that beat the Bengals? But that's a whole game better than the team they dominated last week.Congratulations on your impressive win against a 5-11 team.CrossEyed said:Steelers dominated from the opening whistle. Guess what? A win is a win. Denver and Cincy were expected to be playoff teams. Denver barely beat Buffalo and Cincy got scorched by Cleveland. I'll take two dominating wins over anybody to start the season.Congratulations on your impressive win against a 5-11 team.Steelers dominated from the opening whistle. Exactly. You can only play who's on your schedule. They have some very tough stretches coming up where they'll be lucky to go .500, so you need to beat the teams you're supposed to beat. Teams that don't make the playoffs (2006 Steelers are a perfect example) give away games they had no business losing. I fully expected the Steelers to be 2-0 at this point, but to have outscored their opponents 60-10 is pretty good no matter who they're playing. Spreads had them as a 13 point favorite in the two games combined and they're +50 in those games, and the defense has looked fantastic. If they keep winning the games they should win, they can split the games they should split and still be in the playoffs. From there, anything can happen (2005 Steelers are a perfect example.)Guess what? A win is a win. Denver and Cincy were expected to be playoff teams. 1. I don't expect anybody to apologize for winning a game and it isn't the Steelers' fault that they have an easy schedule. I just think it's amusing to see somebody praising their team for blowing out arguably the worst team in the league.2. The Denver-Cincinnati thing is ridiculous. I think we all know there's no such thing as trasitivity in football.Guess what? A win is a win. Denver and Cincy were expected to be playoff teams. Yesterday was regular season win #500 for the Steelers, the first AFC team to do so.
