Chiefs refusing to use their best offensive weapon more. Gets the ball on a short field and throws 3 passes.

Haley and Wiess are dumb and dumber.

Not a Charles owner, but it's frustrating to not see this guy get a true 'shot'. Maybe the philosophy there is to try and let TJ 'wear down' the D a bit before bringing him in...??

I feel bad for Charles owners.

Hey, why would you want to give too many touches to a guy that had 154 yards rushing in week 15 last year against the team you are playing today? That is ancient history, probably not even close to the same teams. Pretty sure Cleveland's defense is expected to be top 5 this year. Completely different story this year. Haley is an idiot.
 
Haley is old school. Charles got his chance, and didn't score. He deserves to sit.

Horrible half for Chiefs offense. Just horrible. As a Chiefs fan and Charles owner, I'm dumbfounded. They want to establish the passing game, but there isn't one to establish. WRs aren't open, QB sucks and best offensive player isn't featured. It's a disaster.

 
I'm sure the Chiefs' coaches have a reason for giving Charles only six touches in the first half. But I can't imagine what it is.

They went his way a couple of times early, but just short stuff and didn't connect. Nobody looks good right now.
 
Jones is running well: 9/44. Charles 10/42. It's been a good mix of smash and dash.

The REAL problem is Cassel, who's beyond awful. The REAL problem is 19 RB carries to 19 passes. 19 RB carries to whichever of the 2 backs is not good enough.

 
Worst possible thing for Charles owners is that Jones is not falling flat on his face. He is looking the same solid rb he was the last 4-5 yrs.

Really... this is the only point in time within the last 2 years that could be said... and he was sure to hurry up and post that before it changed. :lmao: Not only that... but it was only a couple runs ago each that Charles was still doing better YPC, before a broken down play. Also... Charles is still outdoing Jones in Yards per Touch... as Charles has a 27 yd reception.

Yeah, 4th quarter could go either way IMO. If they go ahead soon it could be Jones to run out the clock as he's pounding pretty well.But if the Browns score again or the Chiefs are still trailing by 1 with 7-8 mins to go, Charles should get the bulk of snaps and should be dangerous as a pass-catching option.

Hello... yeah... no thanks to Thomas Jones. He isn't doing awful in this game like the last game... but he still isn't doing as good as Charles. Definitely not as good if Charles had his 16 carries. Why let every game come down to the wire?
 
Tough call for any coach here. Sneak and fail, the other team only needs about 30 yards for a game-winning FG. You could punt and hopefully pin them back; or at least make them drive 50 yards. OTOH, sneak and get it and you win the game.

 
Damn, I'm having big time buyers remorse on Charles. I guess we have to hope for a TJ injury. What a waste of talent.
