As much as I hate the Chiefs, I don't know what I'd do without them.

I get more pumped up for KC/DEN v. Oak than anything else in life.

Every throw by Russell has looked terrible. Two dumpoffs to McFadden, one didnt even make it to his feet, the other he had to jump way up and could only bat it. Still staring down receivers down the field.

I saw KC play last week and LJ has run very hard both weeks. He's going to reward those who drafted him this year.

 
Cable has a running game that destroyed SD last week. so what do they do? Pass with Russell every first down. makes no sense at all.

agreed. Russell is ruining the value of anyone on the raiders right now... DMC, Bush, and Miller. 10 min to go in the 2nd, he's 0-5. passes thrown above and below to DMC.

My problem with Russell is that he can't throw anything but a fastball down the middle. He has no touch, and any time he has to take anything off of it (to lay it over a LB or on a screen/swing) its wildly inaccurate. Stepping up and throwing a rope 20 yards downfield, he's excellent. Too bad you don't get many of those chances in the NFL.
 
Weird game-management there by the Chiefs. Although I generally like going for it on fourth and one in nearly any situation, I would have kicked the field goal there since, with only 45 seconds left, there wasn't a great chance of scoring a TD anyway. But then after they went for it and made it, why weren't they targeting the end zone? It's like they were just trying to get slightly better field position to kick a slightly easier field goal -- which goes back to it not making sense to go for it on fourth and one. The risk of getting stuffed there is greater than the slight advantage you gain from kicking a 30 yard field goal instead of a 45 yarder. (Or not getting to attempt a field goal at all if something goes wrong.)

I guess mcfadden is even unstartable right now as they aren't getting enough plays to let him do anything? 7-21 against chiefs wasn't exactly what i would have been expecting.

I think Russell's gunning for it.

 
What's more pathetic? JaMarcus Russell going 3-for-15 for 42 yards...or the fact that his team is leading by three??

 
Not sure if Huff intercepting that pass so deep in Raider territory is a good thing.

Is it wrong that I'm hoping Gradkowski will QB?

How long a leash does Russell have? The Raiders cut Garcia seemingly in order to avoid a QB controversy, but that's not going to do the trick. No matter who the backup QB is, as long as Russell plays this poorly there will be a QB controversy.

What's the chance that Russell will get benched sometime within the next few games if he continues to play this badly?

 
This is getting critical. As long as Russell is the QB, every team will stack 8 in the box against the Raiders, and their running game will be killed too...
