Game Thread W2 - San Diego V Denver (1 Viewer)

No room for LT or just poor running?
Denver's just really fired up and the crowd is in it.I said in one of the other threads that SD has to throw on 1st down to open some lanes for the running game,Granted that last drive started inside their own 20, but it was run, run, penalty and then sack.Huge play to Marshall and then PF on SD Cromardie again!!

Inside their own 20 doesn't quite do it justice... they started on their own 5.

I was practically pleading with FF owners not to drop Scheffler. I've been waiting on this all offseason. That said, it remains to be seen what kind of production he'll have going forward (I believe he'll be top-5), but I've always contended he's one of the best (if not the best) young TEs in the game (FF-wise).

I'm assuming the people dropping him are talking redraft. No matter what he does this season, he's still an outstanding dynasty prospect, IMO.

Long target at the 5 to Sheffler who was double covered.

It was not completed.

LT hurt himself on that last play?

He sort of just fell down and then Sproles got the call on a screen on the next play.

... that might be it for our hero.

For what it is worth LT is on the sidelines sitting on the bench with his shoe off. No one attending to him just sitting there.

Well now there are,,

Chambers torches Bailey for a long SD TD

Can we get a Broncos fan to confirm that that was long TD pass on Champ Bailey? It may need to be bumped when SSOG writes his next novel on his hero.

Starting to look that way. SHould have seen it coming when we got the #1 pick in WCOFF. I think LTs days atop the fantasy football pile are over. Starting to look injury-prone, unwilling to play through pain, and whiny. I wouldn't write him off for this year just yet, but I wish I could re-do that pick. There are better options for your #1 RB.

What RB plays through an MCL sprain?

See above..Bronco fan of 39 years. It was a great throw and I wouldn't throw Rivers a life preserver if he was drowing in my friend's pool.

Not Tomlinson, or through a toe injury. Sell, sell, sell...
