Game Thread W3 - Arizona V Baltimore (1 Viewer)

Other than you and I both have more receiving yards than him on the year?

Here's the latest I found. I'd bench him this week unless you're desperate. Not telling what condition McNair's in either. (IMO Boller would actually improve Clayton's stock)

Mark Clayton-WR- Ravens Sep. 17 - 6:03 pm et

Mark Clayton will resume starting for Baltimore in Week 3.

Clayton has been limited to third downs so far while coming back from a foot injury. If the Ravens had another capable third receiver option, he may have sat out. Baltimore is confident that Clayton is healthy and can resume being an every-down player, but give him another week before starting him.

last post deleted  Sumari Rolle is inactive today. Corey Ivey will get the start opposite CMacAllister. Hopefully the Ravens employ the same underneath bump coverage with the corners playing over the top against Ari as they did against Cincy. I guess we'll see. Ed Reed has been gambling again this year and is losing Rolle's man as he comes open deep. Rolle has really struggled covering recs with anything better than average speed. New look for the Ravens, this may be the end of Rolle's tenure a cb for bmore.

Notes:

Arizona D doesn't look so good

McNair can't find the open rec unless his name is Mason and he isn't more than 5 yds down field.

McGahee got rock in redzone on 1st and 2nd down. MSmith has replaced McGahee on third down consistently. MSmith came in third in goal at three as well.

Stover can still kick FGs

McNair has recs. open and he refuses to throw down field. Unless it's third down he won't throw the ball more than 7 yds. He scrambled for a first down and had Heap and Mason in one on one coverage. He threw twice to the FB at or behind the line of scrimage. While Baltimore is dominating ARI, they're going to be in trouble if the Cards cat hit a long one. Leinart is benched!!!
