Game Thread W3 - Pittsburgh V Cincinnati (1 Viewer)

Steelers taking care of business so far today. Lots of people picked the Bengals today. Hopefully, they're all in for a surprise.

If Willie Parker starts scoring receiving TDs, then it's probably not the Bengals day.Steelers need to keep their foot on the pedal and not settle for trying to win the game 10-3.

Damn, we could be up 21-0 right now. Guess I can't complain too much...

I do wish he'd target Santonio a little more though...

Pitt cannot let them hang in this one.

They have to score TD's not FG's.

Wallace is ridiculously fast. Already better than Nate Washington IMO.

He was probably better than Nate the day he was drafted. Way better hands. It was all about him being able to prove he could beat NFL coverage. He's certainly done that, that is for sure.

Alright, hopefully someone who knows football a little better than I do can help out, because I'm confused. What are those spaces between the defensive linemen that Willie Parker keeps running through?

I THINK those are called "holes" or "lanes."Like most Steeler fans the past couple years, I thought they were sorta like Sasquatch or stuff you made up to scare kids.

I've noticed that running plays tend to be a lot more successful when it goes through one of those. I think Pittsburgh's offensive line should open them more often.

boy that was a couple of awful decisions by Palmer....they were lucky to get that fg.
You want awful decisions? How about Pitt, up 13, going for it on 4th and 4 instead of pinning the Bengals back? When you're up 13 on the road, pin 'em back and let your D put pressure on the QB. Instead, they start from the 40. Horrible decision.

Agreed. I was expecting a TD by the Bengals just for Tomlin being stupid.

INT returned for TD... that's not "how you be great" Santonio... wtf is wrong with Holmes over the last couple weeks?

I hate games like this ... where it feels like they are dominating from a yardage/control standpoint, yet they barely have the lead.

I hope that INT doesn't come back to haunt them.

Speaking of idiocy, Joseph might have gotten the TD there, but he still made one of the most boneheaded plays I've seen since DeSean Jackson dropped the football at the 1 (for the second time in his career). He starts celebrating almost 10 full yards away from the end zone with two Steelers still in the frame, and even worse, when he's holding the ball in the air he's holding it with his FIELD-SIDE hand (as opposed to his sideline-side hand). He was just BEGGING for that ball to be slapped through the back of the end zone for a touchback.

Come on, there wasn't even anybody close to him except the obligatory QB "running" him down on the angle and not getting there.

Steelers constantly play down to the competition.

Should be up by 3 TD's at this point.

At least Sweed didn't fake an injury after this drop.

He did seem to be having a good ol' time on the sidelines after it though.Ward need to forearm the smile off his face.

I think the closest Steeler was only 3 yards away when Joseph crossed the goal line. Even closer when you consider that Joseph was holding the ball almost directly towards him.
