anyone? Can someone please explain to me how the defense can get called for delay of game? Serious question.
I was wondering too...the commentators should have addressed this and instead they didn't talk about it at allCan't be the reason here, it was right after the snap as if it were an offensive delay of game.purposely taking too long getting off of a player? Not watching the game but I think that will get you a DOG callCan someone please explain to me how the defense can get called for delay of game? Serious question.
Just dropped a pass in the end zone. Would've been a very tough catch, but he needs to start catching some of the passes going his way in the end zone.is lj smith playing?
I believe the call was:"Delay of game. Defense. Left Defensive Tackle. Remains 3rd down"Since Pittsburgh was 3rd and 3 the penalty resulted in a first down. Overall it was one of the worst descriptions to a call i have ever heard. Let alone that he made up a new penalty on the spot.anyone? Can someone please explain to me how the defense can get called for delay of game? Serious question.
You act like that's a bad thing, the dump offs have all been going for nice gains, to me that says the Steelers are actually respecting the Eagles ability to go downfield, something the Rams and Cowboys really didn't do. McNabb is taking what they are giving him and doing a great job Also they haven't run 1 screen yet so not really sure what you're talking about there.Jesus, all these 5 yard passes and screens is making them look like the NFCs version of the CheatriotsNice flea flicker
Haven't seen him on the field yet.Reggie Brown in?thanks
reeks of ankle sprain.Looked like he wasn't bending his knee as he was limping off.it looks like it might just be a sprained ankle. It didnt really look bad at all.
Would that be "Ankle Sparin, Return Probable", or "Ankle Sprain, May miss 4-6 weeks".This is VERY unsettling...reeks of ankle sprain.Looked like he wasn't bending his knee as he was limping off.it looks like it might just be a sprained ankle. It didnt really look bad at all.
As a Steeler fan, Yes, it is a bad thing. Im not saying its a bad offensive gameplan, because doing that is the best way to beat PIT D by minimizing the pass rush. And im pretty sure they ran a couple screens, I think both were the first drive and both incomplete though. You act like that's a bad thing, the dump offs have all been going for nice gains, to me that says the Steelers are actually respecting the Eagles ability to go downfield, something the Rams and Cowboys really didn't do. Same here..but, SHHHHH...theres still almost 2 min leftMan, I hope they make some offensive gameplan adjustments at halftime. This is terrible. Glad to only be down 10-3 at this point.
If the defense hits or moves the ball, then it can be Delay of Game. NopeProbably wont be back this game though, but doesnt look like he should miss more than a couple weeks at mostAny word on Westy?
Makes sense but like you said it's a rare call, so it should have been something the commentators at least mentioned. If the defense hits or moves the ball, then it can be Delay of Game. Hard to get INTs when you're not on the field.First INT in a long time for DMac.
Looked like ankle sprain, won't be back today, MAYBE rest up another week, but I would say definately back within 2 weeks from seeing it, and having a dozen ankle sprains myself.Would that be "Ankle Sparin, Return Probable", or "Ankle Sprain, May miss 4-6 weeks".This is VERY unsettling...reeks of ankle sprain.Looked like he wasn't bending his knee as he was limping off.it looks like it might just be a sprained ankle.
