Game Thread W3 - San Diego V Seattle (1 Viewer)

Uh, so were they rolling the playclock while they were discussing whether that was grounding or not? How the heck does that even happen?

They didn't need to spike it on 1st down. Just a waste of a down there.

A better-coached team would have a play ready for situations just like that.

Two chances at the end for Rivers. I enjoyed seeing him fail on both. Took away a little bit of the sting of another Broncos loss to the Colts. :lmao:

It's hard to win when you turn it over five times (for a minus-4 differential) and give up two return TDs in the kicking game.

Man, special teams is just a complete killer.

First downs: SD 27, SEA 12.

Total net yards: SD 518, SEA 271.

Penalties were bad, too.

Penalties: SD 11-83, SEA 5-32.

Who'd of thunk we'd miss Kassim more than VJax?Also a bad time for Dumbo to have his worst game of the season. He'll be hearing footsteps for the next 3 weeks now.

The turnover battle also killed them. Still don't know why TO's lost don't matter more in FF. They decide games. Always have.- TO- special teams- penalties- sacksThe initials "V" and "J" had nothing to do with that loss. Although the "J" in AJ comes into play when he refuses to add depth to the offensive line every year. I said back in April that this team had too many holes to invest multiple picks into one player... seemed kind of evident when that one guy has a high ankle sprain on the sidelines. But on a brighter note at least he couldn't fumble from the sidelines.

I'm so happy I was flying and missed this game. Seems like it was one of those ugly games that the Chargers like put up early in the year. I can handle a good hard fought loss against a quality opponent, but when it's turnovers and terrible ST play I can't handle it.

using that same logic what is VJ thinking when Rivers is averaging 360+yards/2+TD per game without him?
that Rivers' numbers are the result of his record # of attempts and not efficiencythat Rivers' 80.3 is his lowest regular season passer rating in 22 gamesthat Rivers couldn't punch it into the endzone when he had to even with several attemptsthat Naanee has had CRITICAL errors in both losses (INT and fumble)

Rivers passer rating9811980147In four games without VJSeems pretty efficient to me. Only 9 TD though, so he may be having trouble punching it in the endzone.

Yes, he is only second in the league in TD passes, on pace to throw 36 of them this season. :goodposting: (Well, now tied for second since Brady got one tonight.)
