Welcome to Week 3

Be descriptive of events on the field, but please remain within board guidelines.

This thread will be pinned once it's kickoff time

 
St. Louis opening drive (incom. pass, run 4yds, incom pass, punt). Not surprised at all. Throwing 2/3 of the time will never win them anything with a back who averages 4ypc and a QB that is not that good. Martz must have left his playbook taped under the desk for this idiot to find.

 
St. Louis 2nd drive. Bulger sacked 1st play pretty much blows any chance of success. I just don't understand why they CONSTANTLY try to throw the ball.

 
Why not go for it on 4th and 6 after the penalty with that field position? The net for the punt was only 20 or so yds.

 
Why do the Rams always throw on 2nd after a good run on 1st down? Everytime they punt it's a 4-6 yard run on 1st down and an incompletion on 2nd down setting up another pass on 3rd down.

 
the rams red zone offense is horrid.

its the most predictable bunch of poop - 1st down run, 2nd down pass 3rd down pass - fg

Warner is freaking awful - 3 picks, 1 just now for a touchback

Edge had 2 chances from the 2. The Arizona OL is a disgrace.

When is the Cardinals bye week? Leinart will be starting the week after.

That INT by Warner was truly absolutely without question AWFUL. No pressure, the pocket was so wide open he could of crawled to the end zone. Instead he throws it right to Dexter Coakley (No Cardinal was within a 5 yard radius of Coakley....except the referee)

 
Wow, who would have predicted that Edge would outrush, outscore and out-YPC Steven Jackson? Maybe Arizona's O-line isn't as awful as people think.

 
This team and coach are a JOKE. Hand the ball off three times and YOU WIN!!!!! They must put something in the drinking water in St. Louis. I thought the play calling was bad when they had Martz. This coaching staff is a joke and they deserve to lose.

 
OMFG The Cardinals were just going to milk the clock and hit a gimmie game-winning FG...and Warner fumbles.

Fire up the QB contraversy.....Leinart is going to be starting really really soon.

You can't win with Denny Green and Kurt Warner. They will always put up good numbers but once again they were taking up 60 seconds per play the entire 4th quarter. They were lucky to get the fumble from Bulger, but they did not deserve to win the game anyway.

Bring on the Leinart era, or the Cards fans will be in groundhog day each week.

 
They don't deserve that win. The sad thing is that with the win the horrible play calling will be forgotten.

Oh yeah. SJAX against the 49ers and Arizona. NO TDS!! What a mistake wasting my 1st round pick on someone who NEVER gets the call inside the redzone. My bad thinking that this coaching staff would utilize their best offensive weapon.

quite simple, if he finds a hole hes getting 8-10if he doesnt its because A.) hes dancing behind the line, or B.) (this happens far too often) his OL is shoved back into him.

he gets RZ touches, but if he can't put it in once it's pass.don't get it. their OL can't be this bad.
 
Wow. How could the Cards possible lose this game.

Warner is turning the ball over WAY too many times. Green had to be considering putting in ML.....

 
truly is sad to see the rams coaches have the opportunity to say "we're 2-1"

their playcalling is beyond bad, they never feed sjax inside the 20, they continue to let bulger make mistakes and the OL has NO lateral quickness.

this team sucks.
