One other thing the Ravens did well was keep Polomalu from making his usual 9,000 big plays against them. He had the one big tackle-for-loss that played into Cundiff missing a FG, but other than that his name was called very few times. With as many receiving options as the Ravens have now, Flacco was able to throw the ball with confidence to Non-Troy parts of the field - same thing Manning has done to Reed & the Ravens D for a decade. Several of Flacco's incompletetions were throwaways, which was also encouraging to see - though he waiting on a few of them longer than I was comfortable with.

Joe still needs to rid of the ball a little quicker. I know he needed time for the pump fake but he was almost too late delivering the game winner to Housh. He had him open on the break and almost ran out of real estate.

Housh told the local paper yesterday that the route was supposed to be an out but he adjusted it on the fly and Flacco picked up on it in time.

One sack for the Stillers yesterday. Also for the Oline. It sure looked like Michael Oher got early starts a bunch of times that weren't called but maybe he's just that quick off the snap?

I mentioned this at least a half dozen times during the game. Looked like he jumped the snap all day.
