Game Thread W4 - Carolina V New Orleans (1 Viewer)

Never again will I draft Colston or Jennings. Too many other options for the QBs on those teams. HOpefully, Colston will turn it around.

Wow. How do you let Jonathon Stewart just run uncovered all the way down the field to get open deep like that. Epic FAIL on the part of the defense there.

I wouldn't have been surprised if Stewart would've tripped on his own and missed the open TD on that play.

Will Smith is terrible against the run. I can not imagine G. Williams wants him going that far down the line without outside help for contain.

Steve Smith injured. Still lying on the field. Grabbing at the back of his leg.

Walking off the field under his own power now. Limping though.

That last series in the red zone was terrible for the Saints, you have 2nd and 1 from the 9 I think is a perfect time to let Brees find the mis match in the end zone, Colston was 1 on 1 with a guy he had 6 inches on. Instead they run a sweep with Chris Ivory and next a designed dump off to Ladell Betts  possibly the two worst players on the field. Why take the ball out of Brees' hands for these guys??

Goodson got completely turned around by his facemask on a kick return. Still down on the field.

Walking off now. Looks ok.

What a horrible, horrible job of coaching that was. Again, how do these guys not have game managers? They're completely incapable of doing it themselves.

Truly awful play calling by CAR. Predictable runs. Inability to handle play clock. They take themselves out of a long shot FG shot and lose.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that the Saints are 3-1, but this is getting a little embarrassing. Unless this bunch gets their act together they are going to end up an 8-8. 7-9 team.

Have exactly the same feeling. Opposing DCs have something on the Saints' offense ... Colston is being totally removed from the equation. GW's defense, OTH, is getting slaughtered (don't let the PPG fool you).

I dont know, I was there so I need to rewatch, but it seemed like Payton came in with the intention of getting the running game rolling again and he accomplished that. As close as the game was, it never really felt like they were in too much danger except for Carolina reaching the 35 on that final drive

Fox is brutal! I'm watching at the end as the Panthers HUDDLE with about 35 seconds and the clock ticking. They hike the ball with around 8 seconds and I'm thinking...even if they catch the ball anywhere in bounds the game is over even if they get the 1st. Amazing how badly this team is coached.
