Game Thread W4 - Houston V Oakland (1 Viewer)

Foster up middle for 3

Gradkowski making some throws on sideline. He's talking with Hue Jackson. Headed with Rod Martin into locker room. Probably for X-rays.

Schaub sneaks first down conversion pass to Owen Daniels past Mike Mitchell. A very nice pass. Not much he could have done. Texans have it at 21

 
Derrick Ward for first down yardage, Seymour makes stop, but not until Ward gets 5 yards. Texans getting it rolling again on ground.

Texans have 183 yards rushing.

 
Schaub to Foster in left flat, leaves Quentin Groves in the dust, missed tackle, a 31-yard gain. Starting to look like first quarter.

 
Derrick Ward stretch play, cuts it back, Tyvon Branch makes good hit . . . after 7-yard gain. That's the story of the Raider defense.

Quentin Groves makes jersey tackle on Foster.

Foster carries for gain in middle. Raiders never appear sure whether Schaub has handed the ball off or not. A 4-yard gain for first down. That's a well-executed offense

 
Seymour clotheslines Derrick Ward for 4-yard loss. If the Raiders did that in a game where weren't going to give up 200-plus yards rushing, it would be so much more impressive.

 
Third-and-7 from the 20, Schaub to Joel Dreesen for first down, but flags on the play. Illegal formation, Texans, it's coming back.

 
Rock Cartwright fields short kickoff, 15 yards, to the 35. Gradkowski back on the field. Getting ``BRUUCE'' Scattered though, I 10-point deficit will do that.

 
Gradkowski play-fake, pass is defleccted by Xavier Adibi, stolen by Troy Nolan on a dive. He gets up , returns it 22 yards, and Arian Foster immediately runs right for 11 yards to the Oakland 24.

 
Schaub bootleg right, finds Joel Dreesen, Tommy Kelly makes tackle, a 9-yard gain.

Slaton tests middle to end quarter. Gains 2

i got schaub and foster........so please no more of this handoff to ward/slaton in the red zone, foster, or throw it..........or throw it to foster

 
Gradkowski to Bush over middle for first down. WRs aren't a factor today. DHB, Murphy, on field but not targeted. Gradkowski to Miller again for 9-yard gain.

 
Has Murphy or DHB been a factor this game, something that the stat sheet isnt telling us?

Looks like Texans jumped . . . encroachment on Okoye Raiders first down at the 27.

Tough run by Michael Bush to the 20-yard line. Still lots of time left

 
Touchdown pass to Zach Miller from 14 yards, Raiders actually proficient today when getting near end zone _ and still trail by 10 with 10:56 left.

 
Miller's an every week starter with Bruce back there. No surprise to me if he finishes Top 5 with how often Bruce latches onto him.
