Game Thread W4 - Seattle V Indianapolis (1 Viewer)

Brutal. Wallace has almost zero pocket presence, zero ability to read the D pre-snap and therefore zero ability to adjust. He has less than zero in the leadership department, he's worn a look on his face like someone peed in his Wheaties from the first play last week. Fortunately that means there's no change in his expression after his fifth sack and second fumble. I though he was a lot better than this, time for his days as backup to end. Only his scrambling ability has him getting adequate numbers. If anyone else on the team were showing any heart, I'd say it was an insult to them but no one is stepping up.

Mora's tenure is pretty poor thus far.

lol at Manning changing the play and throwing, 3rd and 1 at the goaline, up 31-3..game salted away. Thats why you love having him as your fantasy QB.

From indyfootballreport.com - a great Colts blog site:

Indianapolis Colts President Bill Polian saw things a but differently than most when it came to a double-digit victory over the Seattle Seahawks this past Sunday.OK, he saw things a lot differently than most.Because while most observers saw a 34-17 victory over the Seahawks as a second consecutive dominant victory -- and one that established the Colts as one of the early-season top teams in the NFL -- Polian saw it differently. A lot differently."It was very interesting," Polian said Monay on his weekly radio show that airs on 97.1 Hank FM in Indianaolis. "I've often said we in this building and people essentially in the media and outside live in parallel universes. I was less than thrilled when I went home Sunday night. When we had our meeting (Monday) morning after viewing the film, that sentiment was echoed by virtually everyone. We have a standard of performance here, and the standard of performance is high. We've often told the players it's important to meet the standard of performance win or lose. If you meet the standard of performance more than likely you're going to win over 85 percent of the time. "For about three quarters Sunday we met the standard of performance – albeit grudgingly on offense. Then, it all went to the dogs in the fourth quarter. We played maybe the worst fourth quarter in all three phases this season. We weren't happy about that. Nobody was. I'm sure the players heard that Monday afternoon. The good thing about it is we didn't meet our standard of performance, but we played well enough to win. You get the 'W' and you move on and you try to make sure that next week you meet the standard of performance."
I'm glad they are not happy - they did play badly in the 4th quarter - and it shouldn't be tolerated. Glad they got the win - but I don't care what the records are - it will take 4 good quarters to beat the Titans on Sunday night.
