Game Thread W4 - Seattle V St.Louis (1 Viewer)

Steven Jackson's playing on early downs, with Darby subbing in for him. Had one nice run, but he did look a little less explosive, as expected.

Bradford just marched them down the field for a TD by Gibson. Had some nice throws and a great falling-backwards catch by Clayton to set them up deep.

Seattle OL is continually opening holes against the Rams poor run D, and Forsett has plenty of burst to get through them. He's looking good.

Seattle moving the ball well, gets to a 4th and 2 in Rams territory. Rams sell out to stop Forsett and Michael Robinson drops an easy first down pass.

Rams driving now. Some penalties killing some good plays. Jackson showing he hasn't lost any power. Gets the first down after a ridiculous catch by Amendola, leaping to his right and snagging the ball with one hand as he fell.

Nice INT stopped short of the goal for Rams. Now hoping SJAX runs it in

Reviewing if down by contact.

Ruling on the field stands

Bradford throws a pick, nice leaping interception by Earl Thomas. Was a nice defensive play, but throw probably shouldn't have been made, as his target was blanketed by yet another defender.

Was it a bad decision on Bradfords part? or a good defensive play?
Bad decision. His intended receiver was covered very well and he didn't account for Thomas roaming underneath. Bradford's just reminding us that despite his impressive talent, he's still a rookie.

Bradford looks good in the two-minute drill following the fake FG attempt, though they wasted about ten seconds of time. Brown kicks a FG to give the Rams a 10-3 lead at the half.

Jackson with a 49-yd reception. If he was fully healthy, he would have taken it all the way. He's definitely moving slower.

Almost identical screen play to Darby, just on the other side of the field, results in a touchdown.

Something I wouldn't have thought at the start of the season: The Rams are going to be very competitive, even by going pass-heavy at times. Like today.

By game:

ARI lose by 4: 55 passes, 23 rushes

OAK lose by 2: 25 passes, 21 rushes

WAS win by 14: 37 passes, 34 rushes

SEA winning by 14: 35 passes, 13 rushes after 3 quarters

Congratulations, Mr. Jackson. Moves into second place on the all-time Rams rushing yardage list, now only trailing Dickerson.

Clayton's inconsistency in Baltimore might have caused a lot of people to forget how many spectacular catches he can make.

Honestly, they should just let Jackson rest. He's not 100 percent and the Rams have this one pretty well in hand.

Watching the Rams play winning football again just warms my heart. It's so nice to support a winning football team again.
