Game Thread W5 - Buffalo V Chicago (1 Viewer)

I think that top to bottom, the AFC is deeper, and has more talent overall. Priot to Tenn taking it to them (right now) I would have said that the Colts can beat anyone in Indy on the carpet, but maybe not. There are other good teams in the AFC though, and if the Chiefs D is for real, they could do damage (epecially when Trent Green returns). I think NE is very well coached and are a tough team to beat, especially late in the season in the cooler weather. The Bears benefit from playing in the NFC North, the weakest division in football IMO.
Buffalo has played very tough, and could very easily be 4-0 right now if not for a few mistakes. The Bears are disassembling them.Seattle was 3-0 and they were definitely the popular pick in that game. The Bears disassembled them.If you aren't paying attention to any of this stuff, I don't know what to tell you.

Bills fan should go into hiding, for at least 2 weeks.

I'm embarassed for you.

Who has really seperated themselves in the AFC? Unlike last year, Chicago is laying it on other teams, when before they were squeaking by with 13-7 wins. There's a lot of football left to play and who knows what can happen, but Chicago is playing lights out football right now. Unfortunately, they don't have Philly or Dallas on their schedule, but that's what the playoffs are for.

guys, lets stick to the game. It's silly to say whose the best when there's tons of games left. It's who finishes strong not starts that's important.

This is so lame, seriously. The Bears dismantled Seattle. The Bears are dismantling Buffalo and have done the same to everyone but one team. If you don't see the strength of the Bears regardless of the first two opponents, you have blinders on. How do I know? Look at the consensus power rankings right now, and this coming week. You're the teeny, tiny minority if you're a Bears doubter.

I'm not sold on them keeping up this level of play all year, honestly. I sinply don't think they have the talent on the offensive side of the ball to come from behind. Luckily their D never has allowed for that.

I still started Grossman this week... :)

Dude, Rex Grossman was doing a lot of this same stuff in the 2nd half of that Carolina playoff game when they were down big, despite Moose having a broken hand. Berrian was pretty great in the 2nd half of that game too - the rapport between those two was apparant even before this year. Rex brought them back to within a TD 3 times I believe... You might want to start getting used to this.

They have only had to come from behind once this year, and they won.

With good deep threats, Muhsin being methodical, and Clark having a pulse they should be able to move the ball in a hurryup if need be.I was hoping Buffalo would give them a good sorta test today but this is last year's Bills not the team that played the Pats+Jets. I didn't expect them to win but Buff can play tough. Chicago always does, I wanted to see what happens when another team "pushes right back". Oh well...

uh oh, refs conferring...incomplete....OB...

was right call, berrian had one foot OB....

Nope, he's fine. Haven't seen you around the Bears threads much this year. Wonder why? :bye:
Because there are no Bears games on my TV.
Bears @ Cardinals next Monday night.
That's gonna be a sad sad game for Zona.
Just like today shoulda been for the Titans.... beware of the overly-obvious, be very wary.
:goodposting: Nothing is for sure in football...

So far the story of the game is about the missed opportunities by the Bills. IMO they're outplaying the Bears right now, they're just making too many mistakes along the way.
:goodposting: They almost scored 40pts like Detroit.

LOLDa Bears have throttled teams OUTSIDE their division even worse than their NFC North foes...

Thanks for the new sig!! Post of the year!!!!

Bears have the easiest schedule this year...because they don't have to play the Bears. :lmao:
The Bears haven't played anyone. The need to play a great team, like the Bears. Then they might be good if they won.
