Game Thread W5 - Chicago V Detroit (1 Viewer)

Very big game for the Bears. Much better team than the Lions, they just cant get caught here. As long as they play smart they win.

Im still nervous because this is the type of game they will get caught off guard and lose late.

Chicago trap game... Lions are at home, off bye, against a hated division rival, and Matt Millen finally GONE!

Kitna to MEGATRON, Touchdown !

Agreed, I'll be pleasantly surprised if the Bears don't slip up. Orton throws a few picks, Kinta picks apart the cover-2, bad times....

Very curious to see if the new 4 man wide receiver offense (as reported) means more or less targets for Calvin Johnson.

Ha, Matt Vasgersian just called Kevin Smith the "Lions' outstanding rookie back"

Bears not putting points on the board, momentum will change at some point...Chicago should have scored 2TD's by now...

I feel bad for the Bears defense and special teams all of these years. The offense has done nothing but hurt this team. Sad

Lions in the hurry-up, picking apart the Bears D!

EDIT: Until the great Kitna takes another sack, what a bum!

Hester with a long reception, 4 of them for first downs today according to the TV crew...

Orton with another long completetion(30+ yards) to R. Davis

2 Minute Warning

HESTER TOUCHDOWN! Looks like a WR today

Granted, I'm watching this via stats on NFL.com, but DET looks dreadful. Just dreadful. They must be very thankful that the NFL doesn't have a promotion / relegation system.

The Lions run defense has played well, and the front four have been getting significant push, but outside of shutting down Forte/Jones, this has been a debacle. Didn't Millen spend some cash on the secondary?

Detroit allowing under 21 points in the first half for the first time this season.

On the other hand, the Lions had at least scored by my this point in the first 3 games.

You know Lions, you're not doing so well, perhaps you should think about...

THROWING THE DAMN BALL TO YOUR BEST WIDE RECEIVER MORE THAN ONE TIME IN A HALF!!!!! (And yes, I'm talking about Calvin Johnson.)

Sometimes I get so frustrated...
