They are really mixing it up on the first drive. They threw it to LT 4 times.

The Chargers last 2 possesions were inside there own 10 yard line. Conservative play calling is easy for a D to predict. Also the overpaid Offensive Line for the Bolts is playing the overpaid part.

Last "catch" by Gates was incomplete but MIA didn't challenge it. SD had to punt anyway after another three and out. Miami's defense is shutting down SD so far but Rivers has not been sharp either. Guess Miami's sticking with the Wildcat formation until somebody can stop it.

Yeah, Cromartie knows if he doesn't make the tackle it's a score at the end of the half. I can't imagine self preservation is going through his mind considering his responsibilities. It's not like he's a QB/P/K. He's on defense for christsakes.
