Game Thread W5 - Washington V Carolina (1 Viewer)

What's happened to the Carolina OLine? DW and Stewart were both studly last year, so I'm have to think the line is the problem (admittedly, I'm not watching the games).

What is up with Deangelo?
He was pulled from the game for his inability to drive the ball. This guy has taken an epic fall. I don't think I can recall a healthy RB moving from top RB one year to around RB25 the next year.
Have you watched him at all this year? He's been a good RB when given a chance. The problem has been the ball has not been in his hands because of Carolina's constant turnovers and being behind. The playcalling for Carolina has been laughable at best.Don't read into Stewarts success this game. He is getting the ball in the 4th quarter when Washington has had their most important defensive players in and out with injuries.

Beaten by a play that Zorn would NEVER call in a bazillion years. The naked bootleg by Delhomme is totally alien to the Redskins playbook.

And Deangelo Hall can sure talk better than he can tackle.

Heck, Deangelo Hall can sure talk better than he can cover.Actually...lets be completely honest here.Deangelo Hall can sure talk better than he can play football.

Can someone explain to me what happened on that punt return call? The Panthers block a guy into the Redskin trying to field the punt - and somehow it's not a foul? That seemed like a terrible call.

What happened to this team? Steve Smith averaged over 100 yards a game last year with the same team. Man. Good thing i got him in all my leagues.

Oh, and fantasy is more skill than luck. Right.

John Fox Expects to be Fired at End of Season --

Sun Oct 11, 2009 --from FFMastermind.com

•Fox Sports' John Czarnecki reports Carolina Panthers HC John Fox has told friends and some associates he expects to be fired once the season ends. It's not that Fox is doing a bad coaching job... it's just that the Panthers are 0-3, and they don't appear capable of catching New Orleans and Atlanta in the South. But he's being blamed for sticking with QB Jake Delhomme and DE Julius Peppers, two high-priced stars, who aren't producing right now. If ex-Steelers HC Bill Cowher is going to leave CBS, it would make sense that his former Pittsburgh boss, Dan Rooney, would try to persuade him to go to Carolina. Rooney and Panthers owner Jerry Richardson are the best of friends. Remember, Rooney accepted a draft-choice penalty (tampering charge) for allowing his then-assistant coach Dom Capers to become Carolina's first head coach.

GOOD!!!!!
