I don't understand how the Bears can shutdown the run so well and then Atlanta not have guys open downfield when there's really not an overwhelming rush on the QB.

Horrible offensive showing so far by Atlanta.

Chicago looks like they'e dinking and dunking a little bit better but Cutler made the one bad pass in the red zone and we have a thrilling zero/ zero tie.

There we go, about a 20 yard pass to Earl Bennett who's actually looked pretty decent in quarter No. 1.

Chicago outgains Atlanta 85 to 10 at the end of quarter 1.

I agree and would take Cutler in a heart beat but he isn't going to stop making a few more boneheaded throws than what a top QB should.

I agree and would take Cutler in a heart beat but he isn't going to stop making a few more boneheaded throws than what a top QB should.

Never know. he has a lot of years left ..

Depends on what you mean......they're a contender in terms of contending for a playoff spot. However, ultimately they're a pretender because they don't have enough firepower and to me, don't get a good enough pass rush on the QB for their average secondary.

Serious question. How is that a td catch and ward's wasnt today? Ward rolled over with possession and then it came loose once he was ob. Its not a homer question. I just really dont get this rule.

Atlanta cannot run, at least they're trying to go deep. The passes are way off the mark but if Chicago's going to play 8 up and blitz, you have to take your shots downfield and then execute. If Atlanta can't do that, they can't win. Now, why they wouldn't be able to connect once in awhile, especially with guys like Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez it's beyond me. I do know that Turner won't be running anywhere until that defense if forced to loosen up a bit because of some success in Atlanta's passing game.

Man Jay Cutler must be a tough QB to watch if he is on your team. He makes some plays only a hand full of QB in the NFL can make but then makes others that just leave you wondering WTF he is thinking.
