Game Thread W6 - Detroit V Minnesota (1 Viewer)

Another Peterson fumble because he's spinning around doing all sorts of dancing in the pile.
so he should fall down on contact and not try to break tackles?
If you've been watching the game, you'd know his coaches came down on him because he's trying to do too much. Both of his fumbles are the result of trying to do too much rather than just taking what the defense gives him.
I have been watching the game and it doesn't matter what his coaches are saying because that's the worst coaching staff in the league. Yeah it sucks that he's fumbled but his extra effort is what makes him a great back

:wall:His first fumble was when the FIRST guy hit him right on his arm.. What, he should see a guy coming and slide like a QB :wall:

Why are they taking Peterson out on 2nd down? Are his hands really that bad? I mean, great play by Wade...but still....

WHEW.. Wade has a nice run after the catch and FUMBLES!!!.. Luckily right out of bounds.. Vikes within FG range.

Can someone watching please update injury on Calvin? Is it serious?
On the sidelines.. of course the Lions defense is on the field so that probably doesn't help.. :thumbdown:Announcers haven't said anything yet..

what is wrong with the FREAKIN refs this year?!?

Clearly no fumble...I dont know how it gets more obvious when a player is down on the ground, then stripped and the ball comes out, and its a fumble???

Not to mention his knees hit before his arm

Hopefully Megatron is ok though. Def cheap shot

that replay is just infuriating. it was BLATANTLY obvious he was not only down, but the ball was ripped out while he was laying on the ground for gods sake. how that is a fumble is utterly unbelievable. what a freaking screw job.

Didn't see the play, but was Calvin Johnson injured? This call may cause me to lose $800 on proline as well.

I ask here every Sunday - what's the story with Tapeh? I haven't seen anything from Tahi to make me believe he's the type of player you bother developing.

it was a helmet to helmet hit. he got his bell rung but was sitting on the bench talking to the trainers. should be okay.

Rudi is looking pretty good against this defense. I'd hate to see what Chris Perry could do to my favorite team.

Sweet Jesus. Third and goal from the 20 and they ran a play action pass. yuck.
They did that at least 2 times last week against the Saints. Obvious passing down/distance and they run a play action pass.Childress just doesn't get it.

These announcers are acting like the Lions are playing GREAT football to be staying in this game.. As if the Vikings are this years Patriots, instead of a 2-3 team :ptts:
