SD going deep to start!
Having LT throw to Antonio Gates has had a 100% success rate as well, but Gates will need to wash that grease off his hands first.I wonder if Norv knows that the key to SD's success in the past has been to run LT when 1st and goal inside the 10.
Yes, yes, that worked, too.Having LT throw to Antonio Gates has had a 100% success rate as well, but Gates will need to wash that grease off his hands first.I wonder if Norv knows that the key to SD's success in the past has been to run LT when 1st and goal inside the 10.
Yes, Tomlinson ran squarely into the pile after lining up six yards deep in the backfield.did they even run the ball once in that opening drive?
I revise my prediction to 14/37 and 2/12. He's clearly not healthy.LT will finish 24/108 2 TDs
The time to sell high on him was this offseason. He's done, and many people on here were fortunate enough to get rid of him.I revise my prediction to 14/37 and 2/12. He's clearly not healthy.LT will finish 24/108 2 TDs
I traded him away today, so he will have a huge game tonight...and a huge season thereafter...The time to sell high on him was this offseason. People are so fast to write off one of the best runners of our generation. He's not that old. He may not have a great year this year, but he could be back.....BIG TIME. I still look for a nice second half of the season this year. He may not be worth the #1 pick in your draft, but he should be a top 15-20 back this year. I wouldn't throw him away. The time to sell high on him was this offseason. He's done, and many people on here were fortunate enough to get rid of him.I revise my prediction to 14/37 and 2/12. Top 15-20 RB? That's a low end RB2. We're saying the same thing with different words. He's done. Next year, he turns 30. That workload, combined with his recent injuries and his age, spell disaster.People are so fast to write off one of the best runners of our generation. He's not that old. Who are you thinking of? And dont say Jon Kitna.Cassel is not a good quarterback. It's amazing that the Patriots haven't looked for a trade partner, free agent--something. There are a couple of good QBs on awful teams that come to mind.
Kitna would be miles better than Cassel, but not who I'm thinking of.Who are you thinking of? Maybe they'll finally put in Kevin O'Connell at the half to find a spark.Cassel is not a good quarterback. It's amazing that the Patriots haven't looked for a trade partner, free agent--something. There are a couple of good QBs on awful teams that come to mind.
What should he be happy about right now. Every play is a struggle with an inadequate backup QB.i've just never seen anyone look as unhappy as Belichek does on the sidelines
It seems he takes way too long to go through his readsCassel really has no pocket presence at all. Any pattern past 10 yards, and he's gonna get hit, because he doesn't feel the pressure at all. Of course, the O line looks like a seive, too. Just because Cassel doesn't see it coming, the fact fo the matter is the rush is collapsing the pocket pretty quickly.-
The NFL decided this offseason that they were going to start calling facemask penalties on offensive players that stiffarm into a defensive player's facemask. So you won't see nearly as many stiffarms anymore. There's a stiffarm! Not a great one but it seems like there hasn;t been any big stiffarms this season. I'm used to seeing SJax and LT and a few others knock defenders helmets nearly off.
Only if they grab and pull. They can still have an open hand on a defender's facemask, just like the defense can do the same to the offense. The NFL decided this offseason that they were going to start calling facemask penalties on offensive players that stiffarm into a defensive player's facemask.
