Game Thread W6 - Philadelphia V NY Jets (1 Viewer)

What is with the hideous retro unis this year. The Jets duds are horrible (though not as bad as Philly's a couple weeks ago).

TJ looks real good thus far.

On Curtis's TD, Please describe the play? route? coverage? blown coverage? Where was the safety? Where was the man coverage?

thanks

Anyone else think the play clock was at zero when the ball was snapped? Going to look at the PVR now.
Upon further review, I have it paused on my PVR right now and the play clock is at zero well before the ball was snapped. I'm not complaining, as I have McNabb starting, but it just seems weird that no one said anything on the broadcast.

I honestly don't see what it will take to get rid of Pennington as starter.
He won't be benched until we see a degeneration of his arm strength -- only being able to throw the ball a max of 4 yards instead of his customary 6.### #### his passes just float out there...almost picked in the flat, intended for coles. for the love of heath shuler get him outta there!

westbrook punishes guys at the end of his runs. don't remember seeing a lot of that last year in the philly games i saw.

Anncr just said "Pennington doing a good job of working the cadence" after he floated a jump ball OB over Coles' head. When all you can come up with as a compliment for a QB is "he works the cadence well," mayyyybe it's time ot get him outta there.

I think it is time for Mangini to seriously consider putting in Clemens as the full time qb. Injuries have robbed Pennington of what little arm strength he once had. Although he is a bright qb who can read defenses, it does nothing if you can't throw the ball 20 yards. It hurts all aspects of the offense.

Just in case anyone wants it, I took a shot of the screen on that first TD. There was at least a half-second between the play clock hitting zero and the snap.

I understand it's tough for the ref to nail it, but why isn't there a light or a siren or something to make it clearer that time has expired? I'm glad for it, because it's pretty much all McNabb did for me.
