Steven Jackson is NOT a player you want to lean on to lift a struggling team. Absolutely horrible. :hophead:

Because of the fumble, or is he just plain sucking?
He is the ultimate "me" player. And Holt is as soft as it gets. Neither one of them are going to do whatever it takes to make plays, shoulder the load, lead the team, etc. to get the team out of its downhill slide. If you are a leader and supposedly one of the best players on your team, you just don't fumble inside your own 5 yard line. You JUST DON'T. No excuse.

what happened to portis?
Why do people ask this question every single time? :goodposting:
because its only a matter of time before Portis goes out hurt.
Portis frequently plays hurt.
It may well be the game plan in this game to run a lot and to give Betts a lot of carries too. I was actually tempted in one of my leagues to start both Betts and Portis because I suspected that would be the case and I'm relatively weak at RB2.

I would venture to guess that at some point at least half of the top 10 all time leading rushers in NFL history have done the same thing. It's the NFL, there are 260 pound men flying as fast as they can at you causing collisions that you on your couch can not even fathom but by all means continue to throw out crazy accusations about him not being a leader becuase a ball came out.

pass to pete kendall?

haha, fox just showed the replay

campbell got his pass batted up, kendall caught it and decided to tuck it and run, gets hit ball squirts out. atogwe picks it up and scores

3-5-STL 34 (8:53) (Shotgun) 17-J.Campbell Aborted. 61-C.Rabach FUMBLES at STL 47, RECOVERED by STL-72-Chris Long at STL 47. 72-Chris Long to STL 49 for 2 yards (60-C.Samuels).

Anyone see this play? CBS is counting this as a Campbell fumble that is costing me 2 points. I assume it was a fumbled snap, or was is a snap over Campbell's head? Who should get the fumble debit here?

"crazy accusations" LOLIt is not just one play. Just a prime example. There has been not so quiet talk about this for some time in St. Louis...inside and outside the organization. But you go on thinking he's great for the team because he can put up some nice stats. I'll stick by my (and not just mine) statement that he is not one you want to lean on to lift a struggling team.

Link for things said inside the organization?

I'm pretty sure people can fathom the collisions.

Pretty appropriate that the score is 16-7, the same as the score of that dreadful Giants game.

The offense needs to wake TF up!

And I'm just about done with Durant Brooks. :wall:

Anyone else think Portis is making a case for being the top fantasy RB this season? His consistency is amazing.

The Redskins finally have an offense that opens up running lanes for him and keeps safeties out of the box a lot of the time, and he's a very smart runner. He picks lanes and waits for blocks as well as Emmit Smith did, and that's not a compliment I would throw around frivolously as those were two of Emmit's strengths.
