Game Thread W6 - Washington V Kansas City (1 Viewer)

So far so good for the Skins....moving the ball at will vs the Chiefs. However, they just got into the redzone and that might as well be the dead zone for them lately :(

yup - deadzoneBrunell must have butterhands like Krieg and MoonGawd what a terrible piece that was today

Green looking for Tony Gonzalez at EVERY opportunity. Could be a huge day for Gonzalez before it's over - apparently Willie Roaf's injury was the reason for Gonzalez's lack of production.

Redskins turnover problems continue. Two clear opportunities to intercept the ball, they screw up both. At least they were ale to hold them to a figgy.

What is that-5 targets for Gonzalez so far? Sure, it would be nice to have some completions but I feel a little better now.

Considering he has yet to record a catch, I'll wait and see. It looks so far (based on #'s and not on watching the game) like it's a repeat of weeks before.

I think Joe Gibbs and the Skins understand the whole Gonzo thing with Roaf coming back and him wanting more of a role in the offense....think they might be focusing on him a bit today?

:loco: The last couple weeks, last week especially, he got very few targets and those were at the line of scrimage because he was always blocking.

Whats wrong with Gonzo anyone thats watching...how has he not caught a pas wiht all of these targets?
Seriously...all week all everyone has been talking about was getting him more involved....obviously the Skins are going to heavily key in on him due to that.

Heck with gonzo, hes gonna get his targetsWhats the deal with kennison- as far as i can tell, he hasnt been targeted but once. Its good to keep studs happy but not at the expense of your offense

Chiefs had Redskins pinned deep, but they wasted their timeouts early. So skins just ran the ball all 3 downs and only 20 secs left now.

Halftime now. Tony Gonzalez and Eddie Kennison still have no catches.Turnovers the difference for the Redskins, wasting them a drive and a field goal. For the Chiefs, they've had the ball in the redzone twice, but only got a field goal each time.
