Game Thread W7 - Detroit V Houston (1 Viewer)

Orlovsky is just terrible. how long before Rod admits it and just puts Stanton in? he's just AWFUL. bad bad bad. he's not an NFL QB and will be gone next year...no sense in playing him.

Lions' D comes alive a bit, getting a 3-and-out including a 3rd sack of Schaub.

Detroit starts this drive in Houston territory. We'll see if they can do anything with it....

Mike Furrey down on Smith's long run.

ETA: Announcers say Furrey walked off on his own power, and should be fine.

Also, I should've said Smith's FIRST long run -- TD!

Walter getting a bit more involved in the offense (for those asking about him earlier).

Texans go for it on 4th and 1 -- officials say they've got it, but Lions are calling for a review. I'm betting on "inconclusive", just because that's the way these things usually go for Detroit.

lol detroit made the "wrong" challenge. if they challenge the "spot" they keep TO (but still HOU gets 1st down), but because they challenged the first down, even though the spot changes, they lose the TO? if so, too funny.

Yeah, that's what the announcers said. Shouldn't matter in the long run (unless you think it'll be THAT that prevents a full comeback), but it is typical. At least as someone who started Daniels, I can  a bit.

I didn't think you could challenge a 1st down. That's what the chains are for. I thought all you can do is challenge the spot and they "won" that challenge.

Can someone comment on the approximate breakdown of targets for Johnson - Furrey - MacDonald - Gaines - RB?

Are most incompletions due to poor passes - drops - defense?

Thanks.

Megatron has one target that I'm aware of and that was the hail mary.

This is pathetic. Get your best player the damn ball.

Ive never seen a team so pathetic on offense, where really the only thing they should ever do is just throw it up to Johnson. Its actually funny when they attempt to run a regular offense.

That's what happens when you get Megatron the damn ball.

Thank god that just saved my $35k entry!

:jawdrop:
