Game Thread W7 - Minnesota V Pittsburgh (1 Viewer)

Nice breakdown by this stout Minn. D. This is the 2nd week in a row that the pass D has shown signs of weakness.

The real blame goes to the coaches. Who the heck was the mastermind that decided to only rush 4 that whole drive?? :rolleyes:

They had two potential interceptions dropped. People are over-reacting. I believe the problem is with the Minnesota offesive play calling. They call a run on first or second down with less than 2 minutes and you leave Pittsburgh 30-40 less seconds to get down the field and score. They run on third down and it a no-brainer for Pittsburgh to call a timeout.

Is Minny even trying to attack the right side? I would think with A.Smith out they would, even if the left side of the line is the dominant side.

1st and goal from the 1 foot line. I don't see how it's physically possible for them not to score a TD there if they just give it to Peterson 4 times.

First, turn off your capslock, it makes you look like a fool regardless of what you're saying.Second, you seriously want to fire a guy based on one set of downs? There was far more evidence in past years of Childress dismantling his own team at various points than there have been this year, and they're undefeated so far this year. I understand you hate the guy, but at least sprinkle in a little common sense with your rage?
 
Ok... I will complain about Arians now. Mendy is getting 7 yards a pop. Run the ball twice in a row, just once.

Sorry about the caps lock....thats not like me.It's not just one set of downs. Childress has a history of trying to outsmart other teams when he gets down inside the 5. It bit him in the ### last year twice and it will do the same this year. I just can't stand when coaches try so hard to out think everyone else they end up doing what's not best for the team.
