I think I heard him call the WR "Flipper Anderson" too.wtf is Tirico watching? both feet down?
You are right. I'm probably just splitting hairs or something, but I see a lot of receivers wait to catch the ball at their chest / waist / whatever... rather than making an adjustment on the ball and trying to catch it at it's highest point. Now this play might not be a perfect example / opportunity for the receiver to make that adjustment for some of the reasons you mentioned, but the fact that he tried to catch it at his waist (maybe he didn't have a choice?) allowed the DB to make a play on the ball. Not arguing but he was going across the back of the endzone, right, not running the fade route; or am I mistaken?Yep. Just stop running (since it was underthrown) and get ready to go up for the ball.It didn't seem like the ball was above his numbers anytime it was near him unless you mean he should post him up, like in basketball. He should have stopped running and then jumped to try and catch the ball at it's highest point... I think that's what he's talking about.Far too many pro receivers don't make this basic play and I don't get it.lol at saying Lewis has to elevate to bring in the TD pass; it was at his crotch.
Now, Jaguars should run the kick out unless it's completely through the end zone to get down to the two minute warning. Even if it costs them 7-8 yards it would enable another 39 seconds or so to run off the clock.A TD in under five seconds here is huge.Ravens could kickoff through the end zone, use two minute time out and their two timeouts to have 15 seconds or so off clock instead of 55.
That fumble lost might be the decider.Man, I need 2 friggin points by MJD, JUST 2!!!
If it didn't go 10 yards, it was the opposite of perfect..."He almost kicked it too perfectly"-TiricoWhat does that mean?
Plus Scobee won't need much more to put in another FG.I don't understand the decision there at all. They can't get a 3 and out against Blaine Gabbert here?
Forget it. He's rolling."He almost kicked it too perfectly"-TiricoWhat does that mean?
I didn't get that either."He almost kicked it too perfectly"-TiricoWhat does that mean?
Is that how they get through these games?Forget it. He's rolling."He almost kicked it too perfectly"-TiricoWhat does that mean?
tough to give him much more when you don't get a 1st down until midway through the 3rd quarter. That graphic demonstrates the only real difference between MJD and Rice was that MJD got 19 more carries. 8 carries for Rice! what a joke
Ain't that priceless; he only put the ball on the ground three times but they only lost one so that is the only that counts against me.That fumble lost might be the decider.Man, I need 2 friggin points by MJD, JUST 2!!!
haha good godYes, but you need to see it to believe it.Most people would think the recent 3rd and 31 was the worst offensive situation the Ravens have faced tonight. But they would be wrong. If you missed it, there was a 3rd and 35 followed by a 4th and 43 in the second quarter. So this game is as bad as the box score looks eh
Not with the way scobees kickingShould they punt it?
it happened on the goal line. big swing there for sure.Ain't that priceless; he only put the ball on the ground three times but they only lost one so that is the only that counts against me.That fumble lost might be the decider.Man, I need 2 friggin points by MJD, JUST 2!!!
