Game Thread W7 - Pittsburgh V Cincinnati (1 Viewer)

Interesting note to this game...If the Bengals win, Marvin Lewis will have the best winning % ever by a Bengals coach

Chad Johnson just dropped a pass - that gives him 5 for the year. Tied for the league lead. He had 14 last year - the most in the league.

TD CJ!!!Nice little dance at the end too. Silly little freakedited to add: getting challenged. looks like the ball might have been moving slightly after CJ landed, as he was rolling out of bounds

Play overturned. DarnThey said that he got 1 foot in and then the next thing to hit the ground was his hand out of bounds. At least he got to celebrate - makes up for last week's TD where he didn't get to.

When I saw that play live, I thought his hand touched out of bounds first, and the replays supported it. Surprised the announcers babbled for 5 minutes worth of replays without even commenting on that.Definitely the right call to overturn it IMO.

 There was nothing obvious about that. The replay views they showed made it tough to see when the hand hit vs. the elbow vs. the 2nd foot.

Roll your eyes all you want, it was obvious to me, both live and on replay. And it was obvious to Bill Cowher's staff, who told him to challenge, and to the ref, who overturned it.

I dunno, I don't own CJ, nor am I a Bengals fan, and I never once saw it as obvious that his hand hit out. The only obvious thing I could see was that his elbow hit well in bounds.

The Steelers were challenging that one all the way. Not because of the hand, but because of how close it was on so many counts - where he landed, how many feet he got in, etc.At least the Steelers started with a 3 and out!!

****ALERT****The Steelers need to change up their D. The Bengals are moving the ball at will between the 20's. Might want to make an adjustment.

2-9-CIN 42 (6:25) C.Palmer pass to T.Houshmandzadeh ran ob at PIT 33 for 25 yards (C.Hope).1-10-PIT 33 (5:51) C.Palmer pass to T.Houshmandzadeh ran ob at PIT 21 for 12 yards (W.Williams).1-10-PIT 21 (5:22) C.Palmer pass to T.Houshmandzadeh to PIT 12 for 9 yards (T.Polamalu).2-1-PIT 12 (4:41) C.Palmer pass incomplete to T.Houshmandzadehwelcome back T.J.

And the Bengals promptly kick the ball out of bounds.Come on guys, you've got to play smarter ball than this to beat PIT

Wow, Thurman almost timed the blitz perfectly. Slightly offsides, but he and the ball got to Big Ben at almost the same time.
