Game Thread W7 - Pittsburgh v Denver (1 Viewer)

Isn't that illegal for Davenport to push Big Ben like that?
Only if it's caught and/or called. I have no problem with what went down there.
I thought it was only illegal to push the player into the endzone?
Technically, it's illegal to push or pull a teammate with the ball anytime. However, it's a judgment call as to whether or not a push or pull actually impacted the play. Very rarely called.

That's probably the worst missed false start I think I've ever seen. That's bad enough that an official should lose his job.

I agree with Al this time that the call was bad. But does he ever point out breaks that go against the Steelers? I know Madden hates Pittsburgh, but what did the Steelers ever do to Michaels?

He's gotta get on John's bus. What do you expect.

This game is a lot like last year's games where Ben's early mistakes lead to a large deficit, then a rally where he plays some pretty good QB. Unfortunately for Steeler fans, most of those games last year featured one more turnover just when the game was about to be tied/won.

Why'd you bring that up :excited:

Holy crap, neither team is capable of getting a stop on 3rd and long. I'd be curious to see the combined conversion percentage for both teams tonight.

I had the same flashback just before the two minute warning. :excited:

Ugh. The last two Steelers touchdowns came after the refs completely blew two calls. I am sick.

The Broncos defense is even more sickening right now.
