Alex Smith looks like a 21 year old out there.Even though the SF running game hasn't done anything, Barlow has looked pretty good making moves on a couple runs... there were just 11 redskins all over the play. Niners definitely won't take Reggie Bush with the #1 overall pick, unless someone in the 49ers front office forgets you need an offensive line to be effective.

I have no idea why they insist upon running Portis up the middle. Run him WIDE!!! If he wants to cut back through the middle, fine, but simply trying to use him as a battering ram just doesn't work.
