Game Thread W7 - Tampa V Seattle (1 Viewer)

I thought TB signed another FB? Lovely to see Graham there again. It seems the hostile takeover by Dunn is complete. Anyone know exactly what the deal is?

:football: Didn't see a game thread.
You must have missed the questionnaire. FBG's send out an email asking if any members had any fantasy football interests in this game. Not one respondent mentioned using any players from this matchup in their starting lineup. Thus it was declared that no official game thread was needed.

They signed Jameel Cook. I heard it wouldn't take him much time to get back in, but maybe Gru feels more comfortable w/ Graham at this point.

So what do you do as Seattle's coach now? Is it taboo to challenge a play against a player that may have been seriously injured, even though it's a game-changing play?

Why in God's Green Earth did they blow the damn whistle there? The NFL has to pound it into these idiots' heads to let the play go.

Good clean football hit there. I feel sorry Ike got knocked out, but if the NFL hands out a fine for that, they lose alot of respect.

Got to, unfortunately.

Agreed.

Prayers for Ike...
Agreed.

SeriouslyAll due respect and well-wishes to Ike, but that was a fumble, and there was, once again, no reason to blow the whistle at all.

thank God he got up on the cart. Seattle will get the to on replay - would have gotten a td if not for inadvertant whistle.

They need to quit running with the whistle in their mouth, maybe they wouldn't be so quick to stop a good play.
Well they're so worried that someone is going to tap someone else on the shoulder a split second after the play is over they feel like they have to blow it right away. I mean, the 15 yard "late hit" penalties the last two weeks have been insane.

They probably will. It was helmet to helmet though Hill didn't launch himself, and almost every block Hines Ward makes is the same thing. I disagree heavily with them on their fines this year but I would be very surprised if he escapes punishment. Your head is ahead of your shoulders. The helmet hitting first is a possibility on every single tackle, hit or block.ETA Glad Ike is ok

Bad season for the refs. Should've been 6 for the Hawks and now they have to punt. Some serious changes need to be made to the reffing this offseason. Un acceptable.

it seems like whistles are quicker this season than in the past. too many screw ups. i thought the league came out a few weeks ago and told the officials to chill the fast whistles. now in this case with a player on the field, i can see the quick whistle, but they need to do something.

ugh, as i feared, this game would be over by the half. Its bringing back memories of years gone by....

holy ####. Exactly how much plastic surgery has Andrea Kremer had in the last 6 months?

For a split second, I thought they had a female sideline reporter.

Missed opportunities, shoddy play, a bad whistle, injuries, unimaginative playcalling, no pass rush, poor coverage, poor punting even. This team would have to overachieve just to be average. This is the most pathetic season I can remember, even counting the 2-14 years. At least then there were no expectations.
