Neil O'DonnelWhat the hell was that Ben
Hixon, Toomer, and Smith are not threats at the GL. Plax is a monster there. This is where the sorely need Plax
Coughlin's stubbornness is costing the team, and my fantasy team.Hixon, Toomer, and Smith are not threats at the GL. Plax is a monster there. This is where the sorely need Plax
I don't like it. It is fundamental to the game to not take points off the board. The only way I could understand going for it there is if it is clear they are completely dominating the line of scrimmage, where they can just drive the pile back into the end zone, or there is some huge mismatch they can exploit.I like the decision to go for it there. Not sure if I agree with the decision to run it right up the gut again, though.
Too close to overturnDidnt look like it crossed from the sideline view, it looks like it might have from the aerial view, but you cant see the ball and based on the other view, the ball was closer to his mid torso than his helmetTroy Aikman is blind. Jacobs was in, that should be a TD.
Aerial view is tough though, b/c I don't think its parallel to the line. The angle makes it a tough thing to call "inconclusive".Refs screwed up on 2 plays in a row. That first play was just out of the endzone by half a foot, but they put it back on the 1/2 yard line. Next play, the aerial view showed he was in.
You tell me where the replays CLEARLY showed a TDYou just lying to yourselfFirst off, Aikman proves once again he's atleast as bad as Dierdorf, probably worse. And Troutwig has twice commented about receivers not getting out of bounds, and we're not even midway through the second quarter. The combination of these two is just attorcious.
The spot after the challenge was too far away and the replays clearly showed Jacobs broke the plane. Absolutely horrible officiating.
Just looked at it again. There was an angle at the beginning of the play, but it was minimal by the time Jacobs approached the goal line and wouldn't have accounted for the amount that the ball did cross the line.Aerial view is tough though, b/c I don't think its parallel to the line. The overhead view is clear, and the view for the right sideline shows the ball about 6 inches from the plane, then you see the arms extend and the ball disappears. Seeing anything other than that is wishful thinking. You tell me where the replays CLEARLY showed a TDYou just lying to yourselfFirst off, Aikman proves once again he's atleast as bad as Dierdorf, probably worse.
