Game Thread W8 - Seattle v Kansas City (1 Viewer)

This is the 3rd time this season the Chiefs will be facing a quarterback making his first career start. They still have 8 games left. Wonder what the modern day record is.?

Here we go Seahawks! Here we go!

:ClapClap:

Perhaps straight to second place in the NFC West.

Does Hamlin have brain damage? Isn't this the second week in a row he's gotten a stupid penalty like that?

That flag was a joke. Gonzo just fell down. He didn't throw him down. However, I mentioned last week that I won't be shocked to see Hamlin lead the league in personal fouls this season.

I don't agree it looked to me like hamlin twisted around and tried to throw him down. Gonzo raised his arms asking where the flag was and they threw it. I can't beleive he didn't learn his lesson after last week.

I rewound the play and watched it twice. We'll have to agree to disagree.

Jordan Black serving up his usual gift.

I wish he would just at least bend over and give possession away nearer to midfield or in the opponent's half, instead of always near the Chiefs' endzone.

Long run for 38, a Huard pass gets them into the red zone, then run LJ, run LJ, run LJ, TD.

78 yds, 1 TD in the first quarter.

I can see right now I blew it by playing Derrick Johnson. The defense has to be on the field to make tackles! :wall:

The Chiefs' defense is playing like #####. They need a fire lit under their ###; they're much better than this.

Tamba Hali has been quieter than he has been all season.

What is with Wallace's man-love for Hackett? Isn't Hackett like the 5th WR on te team?

Darrell Jackson being largly ignored considering he's the No. 1 receiver.

wallaces stat line looks good so far, anyone watching the game care to analyze? getting good time in the pocket? using all the weapons he has around him nicely? reading coverage and blitzes?

Dumb#### challenge.
What's the worst that happens? They lose a timeout with 5:41 left in the half anyway, and little chance there's another play that could have more impact in the next 3:41 that they'd rather review.Best? They keep Seattle back in FG range rather than 1st and Goal on the 3.

Perhaps, just maybe, Hackett is a talented WR. Maybe.
Doubtful
And Wallace was like the 2nd QB. Both backups. Wallace and Hackett spend most of their time running the scout offense & 2nd team O. He's the WR that Wallace has worked with the most so it's natural for them to be in sync with each other.

Huard looked very good on that pass to Kennison. Big rush. Little pocket. Kept his eyes down field.

LJ! 23 fantasy points at the half. Sweeet. Can't wait to read the next installment in the "LJ is a bust" thread.

:)

Huard has been amazing since he took over from T Green, I'm still waiting for the clock to strike 12.

L Johnson has 120 net yards and 2 TDs in the first half.

Huard is playing admirably for a backup... but HAS to protect the ball.

Granted, the Chiefs have the worst pair of starting offensive tackles in the NFL... but still, hold onto the ball, dude.

The game shouldn't be this close.
