Game Thread W9 - Arizona V Minnesota (1 Viewer)

That was some nice play calling Cards. Uhm, let's hold the ball and get 2 sacks and 1 incompletion. Hell why not just take a knee and play for OT. :goodposting:

Time for another Favre legendary comeback
Is it legendary to need to comeback against this cardinal team?Hell of a throw though.
If calling a 9 point, no td victory against a team that goes on to lose to the Lions the following week is a smackdown, sure.
Well...I never called it a crackdown...just laugh at how much you wanted to discredit the Packer win.
It's called jealousy.. :hophead:

I love that a typical Favre throw into triple coverage is how he gets the tie. If he was playing a defense with half a clue that is a game ending interception.

Both happy and sad that Vikings will take this one. A shame that Childress will probably remain HC another week.

47 pass attempts and 15 rushing by Peterson.Childress is a genius!!!
:goodposting: When people are saying, even in schtick, that Harvin is the best player on the team because everyone forgot about Peterson, there's a serious problem. That problem has to go. An OT Victory, skin of their teeth? I hope that isn't enough to save his job. It probably is, but it shouldn't be.

Favre gives insight into his retirement plans.

"Nothing Percy does surprises me. I'd like to have 10 years to play with him"

Was that a great game, a season turner, where they overcame turnovers and righted their ship, or a narrow escape against a bad team, only time will tell. It was an entertaining game.

Was that a statement, a declaration of something laid out for all to see, or a question, rhetorical or otherwise, only you can say. It was the punctuation that confused me.

It was almost like the team saw Childress's job going away and they all said "Screw him and his play calling, let's go win in spite of him" ;)

A win is a win.. I'll tale it!

Now, what drama can they bring upon themselves this week??

An exciting finish but it was against the Derek Anderson and the Cardinals in the Metrodome. They barely squeaked a victory against a dismal team. Hopefully, they can eliminate some mistakes before heading to Chicago.

Did they say anything about Beanie? I mean, WTF?
he was questionable all week. If you have him rostered you should know this.
good insight :goodposting: , but was he injured, after the 1 carry? There is a lot of RB uncertainty sourrounding this team and if he was healthy enough to play, and didnt hurt himself, why was he passed up all game long? 1 carry later in the game doesnt mesh with pre game repoerts like this:RB Beanie Wells (knee) is active for Sunday's game against Minnesota. Wells took increased reps in practice and will start against the Vikings.(Yahoo! Sports)

Derek Anderson had strong finish in this one:

-Tie game late in the 4th quarter. Arizona with the ball on their own 37 with two timeouts and 23 seconds remaining: Sack, Incompletion (screen pass nearly intercepted by Allen), Sack, End of regulation

-Arizona gets the ball at the start of overtime at their own 27: Incompletion (badly overthrew a wide-open Fitzgerald), Sack, Sack, Punt

:lmao:
