A couple of very nice runs by Hightower on Arizona's opening drive.
He just scored from the 1 on 3rd down, but it is being challenged by the Rams. It is pretty close. It is worth noting that the Cardinals had 1st and goal at the 2 and gave Hightower the ball three straight times. The first two, the Rams sold out to stop the run and he had nowhere to go. The 3rd time, he appears to have gotten in, but the review is still pending.

TD was overturned and Warner was stuffed on a QB sneak on 4th down at the 1. Bizarre call, to say the least, having Warner sneak it.

lol, Warner sneak stuffed on 4th. Serves the Cardinals right for ignoring both Boldin and Fitzgerald. Not one jump ball or slant attempt when the Rams selling out for run.

That makes zero sense. James has looked pretty mediocre this year, and it is not like his mediocrity would have made a difference there. It was just bizarre play-calling. James is on the bench. I doubt he is laughing.

First career reception for Derek Stanley.
Long pass down the right side, a bit behind the WR. Stanley jumped and turned a 180 in the air. The ball landed on the shoulderpads of CB Green (great coverage). Stanley corralled the ball with his left and hand brought it into his body as he landed. Green had no idea he caught the ball. Stanley accelerated to the EZ. It'll be a highlight. Great catch

They've got three catches and a rushing attempt between the two and they're trying to establish the run. Calm down its the first quarter.

One of them is usually good for at least a look or two in the RZ. And they both got ZERO looks on ARI last drive.I know it's the first QTR and all, but you gotta think they'd have gotten more love playing against STL.

Hightower is at around 4.8 ypc or something. Why would a OC go with something other than that?

Boldin and/or Fitzgerald will get their numbers. Whiz obviously wants to see what Hightower can do on the field, not who gets the most fantasy points the fastest.

I'm not worried at all. I was just looking for an update from people that are able to see the game.Seems like others here are way too uptight about this stuff.

Lots of people post live updates (even in the first qtr) if people are looking awful early, or if they're double covering a WR to take them out of the game.I just don't see the need to make a big deal about someone asking for an update (isn't that one of the reasons why this thread exists?).Now can we get this thread back on track?
