Game Thread W9 - Cleveland V San Diego (1 Viewer)

Wow, has this game ever turned into fantasy gold for LT owners.

The last time I checked the stats was in the 3rd and LT was nonexistant.

I'm glad the Chargers are up by 7 at this point rather than 6 with the Browns looking to perform an on-sides kick.

LT with the recovery of the Cle onside kick. Talk about rubbing it in - run all over them, then take their onsider...

I hope that someone, somewhere loses due to that -3 yards Rivers just took on the kneels.

That would rule.

Not really. They have special teams packages set up with their best receivers for cases like this. It makes perfect sense to put Tomlinson in there since he has great hands.

Going for 2?
Game is not on here, but I saw that on NFL.com...seems like insult to injury at this point in the game.
Up by 12, every team will elect to go for 2, unless there is less than 30 seconds in the game.
Should have done the math first...30 - 18 just seemed like a blowout instead of 12 pts...my bad.I needed a big game out of LT to make up for benching Parker in a few leagues...hope it was enough. :banned:

The Brownies gave a very good team a game this week. I think they are a much better team than when Mo was calling the plays. The offense still needs to gain consistency, but at least they can put a drive together now. Their o-line is still playing with a few guys that weren't even on the roster when camp started. I didn't want to praise them against the Jets D-line, but I'm ready to give em some credit against the Chargers D-line. The bolts would have beat us 45-0 2 weeks ago.

Man that was an ugly game. First, props to LaDainian (he was the offense), the offensive line in the second half (they made some great blocks for LaDainian), and especially the defense who despite way too many bonehead penalties managed to pretty much contain the Browns even though there was a long stretch of the game when they were playing with all of their projected starting linebackers out of the game, and without Castillo. The only time they gave up real yards was when they were put in the prevent. Also there were a few too many missed tackles out there yesterday (did you see how pissed off Marty was after the late TD which was a result of bad tackling?).

I hate the prevent. Hate it. It's cost the Chargers games before and it will again. It's one of the prime reasons they lose games in the last five minutes (witness the Baltimore and KC games). It didn't cost them this week because they were up 14.

I hope Castillo's not out this week (XRays were negative, but he was in a walking boot yesterday), he think's he'll be o.k.

They better tighten things up this week, otherwise they will get an L in Cincy.
