Game Thread Week 10 - Thursday Night Football (1 Viewer)

I'll take Cutler over Quinn. Denver has lost 4 of 5 and needs a win in the worst way. Torain should be able to run enough to open up the passing game. Shanahan has said he doesn't want to force a heavy workload on him so soon, so he will probably be used enough to keep the Browns honest, and maybe he'll surprise us.

Shaun Rogers and Corey Williams are active and in the starting lineup for the Browns tonight.

Both had been listed as questionable. Also, Donte' Stallworth will start, and Darnell Dinkins will play after being listed as questionable.

Eric Steinbach and Lawrence Vickers, who had been listed as doubtful, will not play. Seth McKinney and Charles Ali start in their place.

For the Broncos, Selvin Young will play and start at running back. Tony Scheffler, who was also listed as questionable, will play, too.

Starting on defense in place of injured starters D.J. Williams, Champ Bailey and Marlon McRee will be Calvin Lowry at safety, Karl Paymah at cornerback and Wesley Woodyard at linebacker.

The Browns' other inactives are Travis Daniels, Hamza Abdullah, Beau Bell, Steve Sanders and Martin Rucker.

The Broncos' other inactives are Chad Jackson, Glenn Martinez, Josh Shaw and Tim Crowder.

Scheffler playing a limited amount?

ETA: Sorry, since Scheffler has his own thread.

I think the Browns establish the run early and control the clock. I also wouldnt be suprised if they let Quinn throw the ball but I am expecting a healthy dose of J. Lewis.

Browns 23-16

Is anyone else starting Quinn tonight, like I am, even though you have better options, just because you are so excited to see the guy get out there and root for him?

Not really. I'm starting him because Big Ben's iffy (at best), and I like his chances better than Leftwich's. I am excited to see what he can do, though!

:goodposting: That's about how I see it as well. DJ Williams is out, so the Browns will gash an already suspect defense through the middle.Sean Jones will blanket Brandon Marshall as best he can and Marquan Manuel draws the KW2 assignment for the Bronco defense. I expect Eddie Royal to get a lot of targets and Scheffler could be the wildcard, but the lack of a run game for Denver will cost them. Only Peyton Hillis coming out of the backfield for multiple receptions could really move the ball, but I really think it won't be enough.Higher scoring though - 27-23 Cleveland.

no NFL network ... forecast calls for FOG ... anyone help on this? how does the fog look in Cleveland?

Hah down to like 2 minutes to decide the usual boom or bust Royal or Avery decision. So far I've got Royal in. Avery could post another monster game for my bench or a 0 in my lineup but Royal seems safer but with less upside.

If this Star Spangled Banner was a field goal would be "no good".....

Yes, he scored.

But no, that didn't look good at all. He struggled to punch it in from the one and none of his carries have been for much. Nothing after contact at all.

We'll see what happens as the game moves on.... but that dirve was eventful but not impressive.
