Game Thread - Week 9 - Sunday Night Football (1 Viewer)

Inactives:

Patriots: QB Matt Guiterrez (3rd), WR Matt Slater, DB Lewis Sanders, RB LaMont Jordan, RB Sammy Morris, LB Eric Alexander, T Wesley Britt, LB Shawn Crable.

Colts: CB Dante Hughes, CB Kelvin Hayden, RB Clifton Dawson, C Steve Justice, LB Freddie Keiaho, WR Roy Hall, TE Tom Santi, DT Daniel Muir.

nfl.com lists M. Harrison as returning a punt. Is this true? I can't watch the game. Anyone know if something happened to P. Garcon? I have Garcon in a return league and I'm playing him tonight.

Thanks!

Yes, Marvin returned that last punt...way back at the beginning of this quarter. That is accurate.

My prediction for the next 3 plays:

1) Handoff to BJGE

2) Dump off pass to BJGE

3) FG by G-ski

there's conservative play-calling, and then there's this.

this is the Pat Buchanon of play-calling

They should just pull Randy Moss and put in another TE to help block - the Pats are only playing 10 players

I need Moss to have 4 catches for about 50 yards to win one of my biggest matchups this week and it's now looking like a longshot.

got bellicheck is a ########. does a hurry up to try and get a 12 man penalty and when they didn't call one he challenges it and loses. his ego is so enormous he can't comprehend the fact that a trick he tried didn't actually work

 the 12th man was clearly on the field when the ball was snapped...
:lmao: Didn't look like it to me. Even if he was, WTF do you bother to challenge that? The play didn't score, much less did the "12th man" influence anything.

b/c bb is a douhe? that's common knowledge.either way, the 12th man was still on the field when the ball was snapped. kinda lame that the refs just ignored it just to spite bb.

I missed the start of the third quarter. I saw that Harrison got nailed in his back at the end of the first half. Have the MNF announcers updated his status for the remainder of the game?

To the conservative play calling comments:

NE's secondary is a disaster with injuries. They are trying to shorten the game and limit the plays on D. They cannot win a shootout.

and now dungy gives an FU to bellicheck by going for 2 and making it

i really hate when teams do that when they don't have to. ask the lions how important a point can be.
