Game Thread - Wildcard - Pittsburgh V Cincinnati (1 Viewer)

if he tore his ACL can he be ready for the start of the 2006 season. QBs do not have to run alot like RBs
Maybe but they're going to want to make sure that he's fully healed so he doesn't reinjure it. They're saying multiple ligaments torn.
Yep.Downgrade Chad, severe downgrade to Housh...severe downgrade to Rudi...all for 2006.

(before you post the icon, yes, I am)
You would think the recovery time would not be as long for a passing QB like Palmer versus a RB because they rely on their arm and the RB relies on his legs. But I am no Doctor.
still need to plant to throw, tough with torn ligament
Does anyone remember the last QB (besides Culpepper) who tore his ACL? Who long did it take for him to come back?

Didn’t Grossman tear his?

This really sucks :hot: becuase my 2 QBs in my main dynasty league are Culpepper and Palmer :wall:
If Palmer did only tear one ligament, then it will be a much better prognosis. I think Culpepper tore his mcl, acl and medial meniscus.

In the midst of my Bengals slowly letting the game slip away I can at least look to this little ray of sunshine in hearing about your Dynasty league team. Thank you.

I have never heard a teamate say anything except positive things about Ray Lewis as a leader.
Of course, they don't want to get shot.
:lmao:
Yes, throwing humor out of a situation where a few men DIED and left behind family and friends is just hilarious.
Couldnt Ray Lewis have given those same family and friends some closure and peace of mind by telling what he knew of the murders? Oh, you say he didnt, then he is fair game.

Bull#### PI call.
Well, what do you call it when the DB does't make a move to look back for the ball and runs through the WR before the ball gets there? The play on Housh was close, but the DB gets the benefit of the doubt more often than not if he turns to look for the ball.

It happens in every game, and it's called consistently.
It was a bull#### call. He barely touched the receiver.

Hopefully the Steelers will be merciful and put together an 18 minute drive and just put these fans out of their misery.

I think he'll be back for the 2006 opener. It's his left leg. He's not a running qb. His throwing power comes from his right leg. And rehab is so much quicker than it used to be.But I'm not a doctor.

Hey, I didn't shoot anybody.
And neither did Ray or his friend. IIRC, it was a stabbing death. And it was only 1 that died. Not belittling it in any way, but get your facts straight before you preach from the soapbox.

lol @ that fumble.  cripes Kitna.
That's OBVIOUSLY butter on the ball planted by the NFL higher-ups.
We get it. You used to be an umpire. Refs dont make blatent errors that affect a game. The bad call by the umpire in the White Sox/Angels game had no affect and the interference call here is inconsequential.

Wow, I unignored this post for this?Seriously, Pat, I've brought up the fact that I was an umpire maybe twice in my 6000 posts on this board, and not in the past 3-4 months (since the WS). I never said the PI call was inconsequential to the game...actually, I never said ANYTHING about that call...and I brought up NOTHING about my past.

I was commenting on the fans who said this game was "fixed". That's all. Whatever else you want to pin me on is entirely up to you.

Back on ignore you go.

Ok, but you're making jokes about it. If your parents/children die soon, how would you like me to come on this board and make jokes about it?
