You would think the recovery time would not be as long for a passing QB like Palmer versus a RB because they rely on their arm and the RB relies on his legs. But I am no Doctor.

You can't make a blanket statement and expect it to be true for every situation - different things motivate people and I don't think I am alone in saying that Ray Lewis would not motivate me in any way shape or form. Sanders work eithic, passion for the game, competitive fire and character on the field would certainly inspire me.

I played college basketball at Okahoma State (I walked on the team) and played 2 years under coach Leonard Hamilton. I played 2 years of junior college basketball (on scholarship) at Western Oklahoma State College. So, don't ask me your "have you played sports" question. I was around the athletes on the football, baseball and wrestling teams at Oklahoma State. So, go find another angle on trying to prove your asinine point.

You can definitely see the difference between the arm of Palmer and the arm of Kitna. Kitna's passes to not have the same zip or velocity. And he can't throw the deep ball with the same accuracy. The entire complexion of this game changed when Palmer went out.But the way the Steelers are playing, I'm not sure the Bengals could win even with Palmer. But at least he could have kept them in a shootout.
